The room was quiet clean and comfortable. The double bed was enormous! There was a classy bathroom with freestanding oval bath and shower and very nice toiletries. 3 hours free use of the spa facilities which comprised outdoor hot pool steam room sauna showers etc. Amazingly good value for the price.

Breakfast was brilliant. The options were sorted the evening before so that the food could served fresh and hot at the agreed time. Served to the table, not self service like chain hotels, so the food wasn’t shrivelled or over cooked. The mushrooms in particular were exceptionally tasty.

The location was a little bit out of our Way but was the most reasonably priced in that area. Lacking on cupboards and drawers and shelving. Also Lightning and switches over the bed very badly sighted.

We were not told that booking for dinner was essential. We arrived at the restaurant to be told that it was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. So, I ended up driving around Desborough at night in the rain searching for a pub. It was both dangerous and frustrating. I live in South Africa where they always make sure that an extra place is made in these circumstances. It's hard to believe how little we as guests were valued.

I had bed bugs in my bed.
I had bed bugs in my bed. They then moved me to another room that had not been cleaned from the last person who stayed. The 3rd room they took me to there blood all over the bathroom. I asked for my money back and they didn't want to. I got 30% back for one night.. i had no towls no cup for a drink.. i had to sit in reception from 2am till the morning till I could leave with no sorry. I would never stay again and I recommend nobody else does. This place need closing down!!!!

The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us. The room was lovely, and comfortable and we were able to get extra pillows very quickly! The cold water tap did not work, and corks not be fixed until Monday(2 nights had passed by then) because maintenance men do not work on weekends. My wife was not that happy with breakfast- as it was not always to her satisfaction, as the coffee went cold too quickly, and on one occasion the fried egg was burnt. The evening meal was ok-ish, but had the same (limited) menu each night! Her steak had to be sent back as it was was inedible for her.
When we had food from the bar, we ordered a bottle of wine. On one occasion we were advised that there was a similar wine available which may be preferable. Unfortunately we were not advised of the massive hike in price - £37.60 - until we had the bill!!
On the same floor as our room there were a group of very noisy women celebrating a 30th birthday. They were extremely loud in the dining room, and continued being so well after midnight. They showed no respect for others at all.
When we asked about dress code for evening meal, we were told “ smart casual” . However when a large group of workers arrived on Sunday night- they wore anything but smart clothes!!
All the staff were very accommodating, and went out of their way to be helpful.

Kettering is sufferingike many small towns, so many empty shops but there are some gems like The bean at the Hive and Vintage Fleur and some very nice places to eat on the Market Place Keno Lounge and Jurassic Grill.

Kettering is an old market/manufacturing town in the midst of some of the most beautiful (and un-touristy) landscape in England. We stay here frequently visiting relatives, and are constantly discovering new and nice things about the area, especially old villages, archeological sites, some quiet and special stately homes to visit, and a few local gems with serious charm (the Blitz cafe, the Keno bar and restaurant).
The room was nice and clean comfy bed shower not great really although i was in the new part and the corridor walking to the new part is quite shabby and I was next door to the office so i could hear all the conversations and also near the function room so again very loud. Made me feel like Iike that part of the hotel was not as nice as the other part.
Spa facilities lovely. Sauna not working properly the whole time I was there which was a shame
Immaculately clean, comfortable, attractive room with separate bathroom (shared with next bedroom) and convenient kitchen. Like staying in someone's very well kept house. Location within walking distance of town centre, quiet cul-de-sac. Owner helpful and friendly. Would stay again. Great value.
The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good. The bed was amazing, got such a good sleep.
It's not far from Rushton Hall and Kettering. The outdoor seating at the breakfast area was great to sit and have a relaxing breakfast. The blue lights in the bathroom are a great touch
I just needed to pop over to Kettering for family reasons and a lot of the accommodation available seemed VERY expensive so this was a welcome surprise. Clean and friendly and access to kitchen facilities. It's within walking distance of a pub and restaurant too.
The signature rooms and hotel are nice however the food is mediocre. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially “ Emily “. Me and my family have stayed at Kettering Spa many times and it’s always been great and a good experience

hotel was very clean and good procedures were in place for covid restriction, enjoyed the fact there was a bar with table service and outside seating. The staff were very nice and helpful
I’m from Lagos, I love the house because it’s beautiful, well arranged and easy access to Kettering Town Center. The owner is friendly, communicates and always ready to listen to you.
The previous reviews don't do this hotel justice. It's not lavish but it's clean, beds are comfortable, tv works and so does the wifi. Plus secure parking. Good value for £45 a night.
