Staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean with nice little touches like a personalised welcome note and some sweets to enjoy! I ate in restaurant and the food was delicious, they were offering a 2 course Spring menu which had enough choice to make it a good option for my 2 night stay.

The accommodation is simple but adequate. I wanted a single room no fuss and this was provided.
The location is utterly peaceful and was the best ! Swallows soared and the enormous men dip sky was beautiful.
I do recommend the service and the food , and I like the staff, they were single bar men running the food and the bar. However the atmosphere and they were chilled

My wife and I like explore the local areas to where we stay, but due to the bad weather, we only saw a little of what is a beautiful village. If we were staying longer, we would of brought more appropriate attire.
The food at The Nelson Arms across the road was not bad. We enjoyed it.

Great accommodation close to Bristol. Very comfortable room we were in the blue room and although it was a shared bathroom, this was not a problem.
Unfortunately did not sample breakfast as we were up and out early both mornings
Would definitely recommend and will be using again in the future

A nice, small North Somerset village, close to lots of sights and amenities. Real beer and cider drinkers really must visit The Crown , a real time warp traditional pub which has up the eight beers and six ciders straight from the barrels.
On one hand I would like to keep that little gem a secret, because if too many people know about it, I won’t be able to book back in. On the other hand Steve and Mandy deserve to be mentioned as their standard both customer service and quality of stay is above the standard you find in hotels!
You find the beeches easily and it is only a 12 min drive away to the airport. They kindly offered to take me to the airport in case I needed too and I would like to thank them again for this lovely gesture! I will be back soon!

Steve and Mandy are very friendly and amenable! The b&b is so much nicer than the other places we have stayed at in terms of the place, the food, and the hoteliers! They really went all out with the food in terms of cooked breakfast, fruit, cereals, drinks. The little things were good too with attention to detail. We always had tea and biscuits stocked up in our room for example!
Lovely B&B with very friendly hosts. Very comfortable room and great breakfast. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way to a family holiday in Cornwall but would definitely stay longer another time. Highly recommend The Beeches to anyone looking to stay in this area. Had a lovely meal at The Churchill Inn which is only a 10/15 minute walk away.
Had such a lovely/pleasant stay at The Beeches.. perfect location, beautiful clean venue and Steve was a fantastic host.. couldn’t do enough for you! So welcoming and perfect location to Bristol airport.. will defo be returning when we next fly. Can’t recommend enough! Thank you very much :)! X
General atmosphere friendly, staff excellent, comfortable rooms. Food good and reasonably priced. The hotel is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The checking in time of 3 o’clock and check out time of 11 o’clock are quite generous compared to some other hotels.
I planned surprise birthday party for my husband's 60th. Mendip Spring Hotel staff were great at keeping this a secret even under pressure. They were great at deflecting and going with the flow to ensure that the surprise remained a surprise. Thank you- you were ace!
Needed accommodation for an early morning flight from Bristol airport. Spent the afternoon at the hotel, had a great meal and relaxing evening. Room was spacious and fantastic location for airport. Will definitely use again
