Milton Farm, hotel in Chicklade

Set 20 km from Longleat Safari Park, Milton Farm offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

This beautiful little cottage in a quiet valley in Wiltshire was amazing, you’re not a customer in a hotel you’re a welcome and valued guest. Debs greeted us with abounding friendliness and conversation. Ate at the fox and hounds which was really good chow. Returned back to find fire lit and sat watching a spot telly in a very comfortable front room. Absolutely recommend. Thanks Deb and James.

We loved our stay at The Old Rectory Chicklade. The house and garden are beautiful, and incredibly peaceful and calming considering that the A303 is so close! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, fitted with everything we needed. Complimentary coffee/tea/biscuits were a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious, with many options on the menu to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Last, but certainly not least, the best thing: the hosts Tim & Helen are wonderful! Thank you for a great experience! We hope to be back one day.

The house is gorgeous and Tim and Helen were just the loveliest people. the breakfast was amazing and we really loved the homemade marmalade so we bought a jar to donate for Ukraine and to enjoy at home. Everything in Wiltshire is 20-30 min away in the car and so much better than to stay at a big hotel with tons of people if you want to visit Stonehenge or the Old Wardour Castle.

The owner was very kind and let us charge our electric car, which was a real bonus. It was maybe our mistake, but we thought it was a hotel and we could get an evening meal, but we enjoyed our walk to the local hotel, where we got a great meal. I could not fault the stay ,other than the price seemed to be more like a 4 star hotel price.

Breakfast was delightful in a relaxed setting. We did not feel out of place or intimidated, something that can happen at hotel stays in the past. We have already booked out next visit in October!
