Very pleasant to stroll around the re-developed quay area.

Very pleasant to stroll around the re-developed quay area. There are lots of eating places and plenty of shops including outlet shops. Several displays of maritime objects from ships' figureheads to old mines make it interesting too. Plenty of boats to see in the harbour and Solent.

    Brilliant!

Brilliant! So much to see and do, but you need at least a couple of days to go round the attractions. Pre-book your visit. Great for all the family, baby and wheelchair accessible. Cafes pricey and mediocre. Toilet facilities are excellent.

The location was excellent as we intended to visit the Mary Rose exhibition, which was just over the road. Gunwharf Quays shopping and restaurant complex was five minutes walk away too. The downstairs was nicely decorated and well maintained. A small but free hotel carpark was a short way from the hotel. Food in the restaurant was excellent and offered both a European and Asian menu.

Was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. All of the staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The room was very nice, the bathroom super clean (with great shower pressure, a spacious tub, and VERY good hand soap). The bed was extremely comfy — unusual for all of the pillows to be as comfortable as this hotel. The decor of the entire place was very fun, properly themed. I had a good look at all the model boats. The breakfast was pretty standard, very edible. Spectacular location for Portsmouth Harbour attractions & Gunwharf Quays.

The location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to the bus and train station and the popular Gunwharf Quays. The apartment was great, our bedroom was roomy and had lots of space to hang clothes and to work on a desk. The kitchen was very large with plenty of facilities to cook and make tea and coffee with fresh milk in the fridge and a treats jar. Both the dinning and lounge areas were very comfortable. The view of the Spinnaker Tower from the dinning table is great. We are very happy to book again when in Portsmouth.

It was a very nice new hotel in a great location. The staff were amazing. Breakfast choice very good and the free help yourself coffees teas and hot choclates at the bar were a nice touch. The room was very modern and nice. Would have preffered the beds be king size as standard rather than double but i paid for a double so thats what i got. Very good location withing the Gunwharf Quays complex and the staff were very inviting friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent with easy access to Gunwharf Quays, ferries to the Isle of Wight and Southsea. The breakfast was also very good with a comprehensive selection and quality food. Most staff, particularly the catering and cleaning staff, were excellent - very friendly, helpful and professional. The restaurant and bar area seem to have been recently refurbished and were the nicest parts of the hotel by far.

The hotel was really clean and tidy, room was very nice and staff really friendly and happy to help. Car park is right behind the hotel and had plenty of space. I was allowed to leave my car there before I was able to check in and the following day whilst I took part in the Great South Run. Breakfast was good with a nice cooked breakfast option too. Really central location, right opposite the train station, 2 minute walk to Gunwharf Quays and 30 seconds to the dockyard.

The hotel is in a good location within a short walk of the beach lawns, Gunwharf Quays and the town centre. The building felt modern and contemporary with its open plan layout downstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

The location is fantastic for both the Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf Quays, only a 10minute walk away. The layout of the apartment is good, the bedrooms and living area are a good size and the bathrooms were well appointed. We enjoyed relaxing in the living area, and did a bit of cooking in the kitchen. On top of that the host was extremely helpful, checked in with us to make sure everything was up to scratch, and went above and beyond after the stay to help return some lost belongings to me. I can't rate him highly enough.

A nice hotel in a quiet location easily reached by local busses. It's a long way but you can walk it from Portsmouth Harbour. If so make sure you go via the magnificent Gunwharf Quays and coastline. Steve was very helpful and welcoming. A nice clean comfy bed. Good value for money.

Perfect location for our one night stay in Portsmouth. We walked home quickly after a day of shopping at Gunwharf quays and then took the catamaran to isle of wight the next day from Portsmouth Harbour. The apartment was large and comfy. We used the kitchen for dinner.
