The room was very clean and comfy, with a lovely view from the back of the property which is in a nice quiet setting. The bathroom has a nice powerful shower. Jeanette provided a delicious breakfast in the dining room in the bright conservatory where I could eat while watching the ponies and bird life. She was also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

Brockenhurst was a great location for us as we were visiting Beaulieu motor museum. We wished we had stayed for longer as we would have had time to explore more like some of the beautiful walks. On our way to the motor museum we drove through the national park the scenery was lovely. We had evening meal at The Filly Inn the food was excellent.

Can get very busy and crowded during peak holiday periods. Best times to enjoy the New Forest are probably early Spring or Autumn. Parking a car or larger vehicle can be very frustrating at peak times and electric charge points are very limited in public access areas.

Brockenhurst is only a small forest village but it has lots of fantastic pubs and even a hotel.with a spa. It's central for visiting the new forest and the train station makes a day trip to Bournemouth car free!
Lots of walking on the doorstep, period houses, ponies and donkeys walking about and a great bakery for picnics .

The snakecatcher was a great place to eat along with the local curry house.
There was plenty of places to get your food shop done and the people of Brokenhurst are so friendly.
Where else can you go shopping and bump into donkeys!

House was in perfect position just by local shop.
House was in perfect position just by local shop. Very clean and had everything we needed. Wasn’t sure how washing machine worked but as stay was short wasn’t used. Perhaps instructions would help. But thanks to host it was all perfect. Would recommend
We absolutely loved our stay at Forest Acorn. The apartment is truly exceptional in terms of comfort, facilities, warmth and location. Brockenhurst is a lovely place to base yourself to explore the New Forest with lots of lovely restaurants and cafes nearby. Our host was very helpful with local tips and was very friendly and accommodating. I knew there was a welcome box but was surprised to see it included bacon and sausages, really lovely touch. On a rainy day we even enjoyed the games available. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Very comfortable and relaxed couple of nights. Stayed in the Little Alice room, described as cosy with restricted height, I didn’t find it a problem for my 6 ft frame. Ordering breakfast was a little quirky, everything except cooked element is ordered in advance, although they did seem flexible. The hotel was helpful in allowing us to leave our bikes out of view. We found it an ideal location to explore the New Forest tracks with our bikes.
Breakfast was lovely, nothing too much trouble. The hotel welcomes dogs and accommodates guests with dogs in a smaller, very nice dining area - at this time of year with its own Xmas tree. Lovely Xmas decorations everywhere. The evening menu is delicious too - and many people dropped in for the afternoon tea. A stay here is strongly recommended - the location is perfect for getting straight out into nature.
Good central location for visiting the New Forest and Dorset coast. The property had a dishwasher and washing machine. The street parking worked well for the times that we were at the property. A parking clock was also provided for guest use in New Forest District Council car parks. It was pretty cool to be right in the heart of Brockenhurst among the hustle and bustle of the main Street.
Food was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful, located in a beautiful spot with plenty of walks available. It was exactly what we wanted after a busy wedding weekend, Brockenhurst is a short drive away but we did a lovely walk in the nature reserve next to the hotel to get there. Very peaceful and chilled, would highly recommend.
The room was very well-appointed and the owners had thought of everything in terms of our comfort. The location is a 15-minute walk from the centre of Brockenhurst and very well situated for exploring the New Forest. Parking was available on site, and there was a delightful garden for guests to relax in.
The location of the Huntsman was suberb right in the centre of Brockenhurst so easy access to local shops and for walks in the new forest.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious with a nice big bed and tea and coffee facilities which were replenished daily.
Lovely stay in very cute hotel. We stayed in the contemporary rooms which were comfy, decent sized and clean. Our room was dog friendly and opened out into a small shared garden area. Breakfast was excellent we were also able to charge our EV via a mains plug outside. Great stay, thanks very much!
This was a self catering let. Very clean and well presented accommodation. Well equipped kitchen/dining facility. Comfortable sleeping/bedding and very good bathing and shower facilities. Central to Brockenhurst and very close to shops so no problem if you run short of milk etc.
Unparalleled setting in the New Forest. Beautiful and charming building and grounds. Breakfasts were fine. Food in the brasserie unspectacular and uninteresting but cannot fault freshness of ingredients and execution. Receptionists and porter were professional and helpful.
The hotel is excellently situated within the New Forest and perfect for exploring the area.
Restaurant has excellent food and service, the hotel is very clean and very attentive and helpful staff.
Rooms spacious and comfortable beds.
This hotel exceeded by expectations.
Breakfast was excellent. Great buffet selection. Well organised and the toasters actually worked!
The hotel is an old vicarage, and its design is possibly a little old-fashioned, but we found it charming.
Welcoming hotel with lovely leisure centre. We liked the way families and dog owners had separate spaces. Would book again if going to the New Forest. Liked the lovely toiletries and robes in the room.
Lovely room in the heart of the New Forest just steps away from the Brockenhurst train station. I stayed here twice. Tracy, my host even gave me a deal on my second stay. I will absolutely stay again.
