When arriving after 6 hour journey which should have been 3 we were starving so ordered food which was delicious. Then off to the family room which was lovely nice comfortable beds plenty of space. Tea and coffee with a little biscuit with enough milk to actually make a cup of tea made me very happy

We were going from Midlands to Cornwall to 4 days in holiday on the beach. As the trip was long, we choose Wall Eden Farm to rest just one night. We were so well surprised that, we have decided to return and stay another night in Wall Eden Farm.
Boasting a garden and views of garden, Burnt House Farm is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Highbridge, 37 km from Ashton Court.

Hard to make too many judgements as we only stayed briefly for one night. However the room was as advertised, clean and welcoming. The woman who. Checked us in was helpful and kind.
A good hotel as a pit stop when travelling through.
A good hotel as a pit stop when travelling through. The hotel has recently been redecorated so is clean and fresh. The staff were really welcoming and friendly and the food was great (we had an evening meal and breakfast).

I was there for a very specific reason; to follow up some family history research as my ancestors lived in East Brent. The village and surrounding villages are charming and very close to the entirely different atmosphere of Weston Super Mare. There is a pub in East Brent with huge and reasonably priced meals, obviously a favourite with the locals. There is a pub in Brent Knoll too but this was closed temporarily due to Covid. Apart from some houses and some interesting churches and of course the knoll itself (a huge hill you can climb if you've the energy) there is nothing much else in the villages for tourists. However you are in very easy reach of the M5, Weston Super Mare and other coastal resorts as well as Bristol, Wells, Cheddar and other attractions you might want to visit if you were on holiday. If you are just looking for overnight accommodation when you're on a long trip, the village is really close to the motorway and A38.

I booked it for May 5.
I booked it for May 5. I turned up early evening to check in, but the hotel was locked up and there was no answer when I knocked on the doors. I had to find alternative accommodation (and was ortunate to find the last room in a nearby chain hotel). I was charged by Bookings/Hotel and refused a refund. Terrible service from Bookings and/or the hotel.
I'm now boycotting the hotel and bookings.com. A disgrace that I was booked and the hotel was effectively closed, and absolute disgrace that I had to pay for it. ,

We loved the friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
We loved the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. The range and quality of the food at breakfast was superb as was the service. The surroundings and perfectly manicured gardens were beautiful.
We stayed in the minor house, the path to the Manor House lacked illumination and had an uneven path. This was problematic for my husband as he has a vision impairment.
There were a few small issues with the room ie no bath mat, no mirror above the dressing table which meant that I had to stand to dry my hair and apply make up in the full length mirror.
The positives outweigh the negatives and we would certainly stay again and recommend the property to others.

Ideal location for us for overnight stop as we were travelling further down into Devon. Very clean comfortable room, our room was huge ! The staff were attentive and all the meals we enjoyed were prepped to a high standard. I would definitely stay again and will return in October!
Unique and lovely house containing interesting things in a quiet location. Big room, affable and accommodating host and tasty healthy breakfast (not a fry up). Very close to Weston Super Mare and North Somerset attractions. Plenty of room to 'hang out' in the room and other parts of the house which is often unusual in a B&B. You could spend more than just an overnight stay in this accommodation. Owner made a special effort to accommodate our grumpy teen who wanted to be billeted as far from his irksome parents as possible.
I love this unusual little place! It’s practically perfect in every way and I didn’t want to leave.
It’s very quiet, at the end of a lane, and yet in a fantastically convenient spot to explore Somerset.
Everything feels brand new, it was comfortable and cosy, and so gorgeous!
The owners were lovely but not in any way obtrusive. I shall definitely be back!
We loved the location, very easy to get to most places in mid/north Somerset. It was also very quiet and relaxing.
The Barn was clean and surprisingly spacious. It was perfect for a couple to unwind in.
Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Despite the barn being pretty much on their drive we never felt crowded or imposed upon.
Very convenient for the motorway.Nice rooms.Excellent reception and staff all very nice.Room very comfortable and well equipped.
There are meals available in the adjoining pub and breakfast is served from just after 7.
If you are traveling up or down the M5 this is a much better bet than the usual motorway travel hotels.
Fantastic location. Brent Knoll, Burnham on Sea, Cheddar Gorge, Brean Down all on your door step. Literally minutes away. A fantastic base for all of these places. The Cowshed is a great space to enjoy your time with family and friends, whether it be in the hot tub, forecourt or the open plan accommodation.
The hotel/pub was extremely clean, the room well furnished, that is to say, everything you might need but still plenty of room, bed comfortable. Bathroom very clean and the heated towel rail worked as well. There was the option of an 'air changing machine' in the bedroom which worked very well.
The staff in the restaurant and bar were so lovely. We had 2 friends also staying at the hotel who were vegan and the chef went out of their way to give them 2 options for meals. They were so friendly and this review is not a reflection on them at all.
Perfect for two people, everything you need for a comfortable stay in peace and quiet. We didn't have time but there is a walk up to Brent Knoll from the door and it is very well located for exploring the area.
The breakfast was lovely. The hotel was quirky in an interesting way. The host was great- nothing was too much trouble. The suite was great. Quiet location.
