A very quirky room which was both interesting and comfortable. Didn't expect such a strong "Oar / nautical" theme, but later realised that this was quite close to water historically.

Well I have to say, the B&B hotels are all a hit. At least I can say that for England and Scotland.
This is also the case here with a nice manager who also makes a great English breakfast.
The room was huge and the bathroom was almost a castle.

Food was average. Ribs lukewarm and sparse on the sauce. Pie a little tasteless. Breakfast was average. Staff are outstanding and couldn’t be more helpful but the quality of food needs to improve to warrant a return. Ale was excellent!

It was clean a d comfortable. Very useful for us as guests at a nearby wedding. The couple were lovely and checked in with us but gave us privacy. There were welcome gifts which was a lovely touch.
