lovely old house in a small village. good breakfast. I suppose it's a guest house as opposed to a hotel.

We like Bicester Village Outlet , to shop for branded favourites . We ate @ La Tua Restaurant & enquired about " The Apartment . " Yes, it's easy to get around Bicester, the people are helpful & kindly considerate . Avoid the rush hour or peak hours, as P spaces can be already full , though doesn't take long for a space to be available.

I loved where the apartment was situated, just a 5 minute walk to Bicester Village which has everything from great shopping to the many wonderful restaurants, I will go again! It's also got it's own train station with direct access to London, couldn't be handier!

We were a little surprised to find that the centre of Bicester was the same as many towns we have visited this year. Somewhat gloomy, lack of individual shops, slightly grubby and dirty pavements areas, especially the pedestrian areas. However, on the positive side Safeway's was in the centre with a large free for 2 hours car park and laid out rather ingeniously.
WE believe that the Village outlet centre was located too near the centre and really dwarfed the town areas with designer brand clothes fashion ideas.
Never mind you will not please everyone all of the time.......

Our son had bought my wife a 'Drive a Fire Engine' experience and we decided to stay overnight. That part of the trip was excellent. The centre was pleasant and clean. There were plenty of charity shops (a plus) and pubs to eat in. We chose the Penny Black in town (for drinks & breakfast) and The Acorn for a meal. At The Acorn, the staff were particularly friendly and the steaks were great.
Coles Bookshop was brilliant - could've spent a fortune.
Unless you're REALLY interested in clothes, the Village is a waste of time cos there are mostly clothes shops and it took us twenty minutes to have a wander round and then leave.

We wanted to visit the Bicester Shopping Village hence the road trip from Halifax to the area.
Stopped at the Holiday Inn overnight, basic facilities but okay for the one night, watch out for the £5 parking charge plus the PodPoint chargers aren’t free here unlike the Best Westerns.
The shopping village is definitely worth a visit, plenty of shops although quite a few are the usual chains but we enjoyed the experience.
We didn’t manage to get into Bicester itself as it was raining and a bit miserable weather-wise but I’ve been there years ago and its its worth a visit especially if you are keen on photography, plenty to see and do, overall worth breaking your journey for a visit

It was Christmas markets at night so everywhere would look nice, I ate at a local Indian which was very nice, general stroll around Bicester was great, it was busy but not overpowering due to the time of year

This is a lovely hotel with great staff, fabulous food and wonderful rooms. The grounds are well maintained and the rooms clean and tidy. It is well located just off the main road and a short distance to Oxford or the Bicester shopping village. Our room was very quiet, impressively decorated and fitted out. Just be aware that as it is an old monastery there is a heck of a lot of character to admire. We thoroughly enjoyed eating in the restaurant and the food was of a very high standard. Would definitely stay here again.
The house was clean and tidy, hosts made sure we had all the information needed to get there. There was always a parking space in the front of the house available. Location itself was good, close to the Bicester Village, and also about 10min walk from the town centre. Kitchen had more than enough utensils, cutlery and crockery for 3 adults and 2 kids to stay. Host was responsive to solve the issues that arose during our stay. Cot bed was provided for our stay. Overall a lovely 3 bedroom house in a nice countryside town.
What a lovely B&B Lionsgate is, in a great location for Bicester Village Outlet (5 minutes walk) and Town Centre for food at night (5 minutes also.)
Lionsgate was clean, bright and airy, beautifully decorated throughout and a spacious bedroom and en-suite. Kerrie has thought of everything, even down to phone charger, which I had forgotten. Water, tea coffee, biscuits, ear plugs (🙂) etc in room.
Breakfast was good, parking on-site...a real must if looking for somewhere to stay in Bicester. Thank you Kerrie.
Me and my partner stayed for a night. Really like the style of the hotel very clean and fresh look. Great polite staff and good food. Definitely recommend and also if wanted to stay somewhere while wanting to shop and Bicester village.
The property was clean and our family room was comfortable and a good size for us three adults. The situation of the hotel was ideal for us to visit Bicester Village. Overall, our trip was enjoyable and the hotel perfectly adequate.
