The room was beautifully fitted out and very comfortable with everything you could need including fresh milk and a cafetiere and ground coffee to make proper coffee. The breakfast was lovely too - very generous with quality ingredients. We recommend this for an overnight stay. It was perfect as a stop on our way back home.

Bere Regis is a lovely place to visit.

Bere Regis is a lovely place to visit. I went there with my wife and two kids. People there were very welcoming and friendly. Everything in terms of attractions and place to visit are in near distances. We went there to visit Bovington Tank Museum, which was approximately 6.5 mile drive from where I was staying (Woodbury Court). On completion we went to eat at "The 29029 Restaurant" which was about 8-10 min drive. Food there was amazing at reasonable price. Driving to Here Regis was straight forward with zero complications. We had 2 hrs drive from my house and getting around there was easy. Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend to visit.

Bere Regis has been a regular trip for us as we have family living there and we love its close proximity to beautiful countryside, either by walking from the front door up Black Hill and beyond or travelling to other unspoilt beaches and beauty spots.

Lovely little village with many thatched properties situated not too far from Weymouth and Portland. The Royal Oak pub at the end of the village catered for a gluten-free diet requirement and had a wide menu selection for coeliacs.

Bere Regis is a characterful small village with two good and friendly service. A bucolic base from which to explore Dorchester and the west of Dorset. The Drakes Arms pub and restaurant forms a good place to rest weary legs after soaking up the countryside.

Apartment was perfectly functional. It was clean and there were clear instructions as to how to use the heating/hot water/shower. The kitchen was well equipped - I appreciated the coffee/tea supplies. It is well located too - being in the middle of Bere Regis village, with 2 pubs and a Nisa within spitting distance. Lots of wardrobe space for those staying for longer periods.

Bere Regis is perfectly situated to reach most of Dorset’s many historic and archaeological sites. The village folk are simply lovely and very helpful; it’s a great place to stay. The apartment is very well provided and practically furnished and we had some absolutely delicious home made marmalades and fresh eggs waiting for us too. Lived being there!

Lovely place in Bere Regis, though fairly remote, car is needed. Good base if visiting other places. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, host gave us some history of the old mill which was nice. Twin room was spacious, lovely decor, nice little touches like robe, bath sheet (not small one) little things like that.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The building was well maintained and historic with a floor window into where the mill used to be. Bere Regis is a good location to reach all the beautiful places in Dorset by car.
