Chester's Retreat, hotel in Belton

Offering a garden and garden view, Chester's Retreat is situated in Belton, 28 km from Bungay Castle and 40 km from Norwich City Football Club.

The chalet was very clean and tidy. Unfortunately, someone had been smoking in the bedroom, and it really did stink. The kitchen was good but more cutlery is needed. We liked the walk-in shower. The bed was really comfortable if a little low. The TV was good and had a good selection of channels available. The owners have added some nice decorations and furnishings to make it homely

There was not a lot to like as we booked a 2 bedroom chalet amd never got to stay there, and told them we would be arriving late and got there after a very long drive to find out some one else was already in there, the person we contacted told us this had happened about a year ago and put us up in a hotel

    Small village with local amenities.

Small village with local amenities. Morrisons 5 minutes away, close to Great Yarmouth, but not overshadowed by it. Close to broads, with River Waveney in front of property, able to see the boats passing silently, and lovely country views. Good Chinese Takeaway opposite the Kingfisher Park. Plenty of local places to visit and some good walks from the site.

Loved the place. Walking distance to the broad.

Loved the place. Walking distance to the broad. Near to Burgh Castle. Handy for Yarmouth, Lowestoft the coast and for boat trips. Plenty of nice villages. Area well cared for. Plenty of buses from Belton (20 min walk away) and local bus 3 times per day towards Yarmouth. Further afield - Southwold is beautiful. Best places to eat - Priory at St Olaves, pub at Lound.
