My partner and myself loved everything about it. Sean and Gemma were wonderful so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel.
The evening meal was superb and the breakfast was just as nice with plenty of choice.
Our room was luxurious, comfortable and clean. We honestly couldn't fault anything about our stay, we found a little gem and would definitely return, also recommend to anyone who is planning on visiting the Cotswolds to stay here. Bampton is a pretty place and an ideal touring base.
Thank you to the Fleur de lys and especially to Sean and Gemma for making our stay a special one.

A LOVELY VILLAGE SET IN BEAUTIFUL COUNTRYSIDE, THE PEOPLE...
A LOVELY VILLAGE SET IN BEAUTIFUL COUNTRYSIDE, THE PEOPLE WERE ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND MADE US FEEL SO WELCOME. PLENTY PLACES TO VISIT LOCALLY, GOOD BASE. THIRTY MINUTES TO OXFORD AND ABOUT ONE HOUR FIFTEEN MINUTES TO BATH BY CAR.
Fantastic stay at a beautiful property in a gorgeous village. The twin room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard. The bed was so comfy with plenty of pillows and a lovely throw for the colder nights. The hotel states no parking on the details but over the 3 nights we were there we never had any problems parking just outside the hotel on the main streets, always within view of our window. We will definitely be staying here every time we visit family
The hotel is located in a lovely village. Parking is on the road, no problem, there were several free places. Check-in was easy, staff are helpful, pleasant and polite. The room was incredible, we were upgraded to the deluxe room, tastefully furnished and decorated. Large room, seating area and high spec bathroom which included roll top bath. We wished we stayed for a longer time. Hope to return.
Lovely welcome from very helpful lad who helped us carry everything up to our room. Absolutely stunning hotel, we all loved the French decor which made the stay extra special. Beds were enormous, top quality bedding and soo comfortable. All rooms were spacious and well thought out. Everything was immaculate and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
Sadly I never got to try the breakfast as I left the hotel too early every morning, but the food in the evenings was exceptional and great value.
The staff were particularly amazing, as a solo traveller they made me feel very welcome.
The village of Bampton is a lovely location too, shops nearby and close to where I needed to be.
Lovely decor, still smells new and fresh!! Creme brulee and chocolate mousse delicious! Huuuuge bed!
Although breakfast not available at hotel, fully compensated with a free room upgrade and breakfast in the next door cafe paid for! Amazing customer service and communication.
The decor was the real stand out. It was so well thought off and just so wonderful. The location too is really nice, in the small cosy village of Bampton. The location is fantastic both to have a relaxed holiday and to move around to site see in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire.
The hotel is beautifully kept. Our room was superb. Very comfortable bed. Lovely unsuite shower. The staff are all very helpful especially Sam.
The food in the evening was delicious as was our breakfast in the morning. All freshly cooked.
The two bedroom suite was beautiful and spacious. A very memorable birthday weekend for my mom. The food was amazing, especially the mussels and soufflé. The hotel manager and staff were wonderful to us. We would love to return!
Simply wonderful hotel! Beautiful room with extremely nice furnishings.
Excellent location and easy parking.
Exceptional breakfast.
I also suggest the restaurant, really excellent !!!!!
