Tennant Arms Hotel, hotel in Arncliffe

Around 11 miles north of Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales, the Tennant Arms Hotel in Kilnsey offers well-appointed rooms and a cosy restaurant and bar.

The 2 ladies that seemed to carry out most of the public tasks were brilliant, always happy and smiling and willing to help when they were required. The evening meals were good and perfectly cooked and after returning to the bar we were able to get drinks and sit and relax until 10ish. The breakfast was excellent, the 'full english' was huge and set us up for the day. However there was not much of a selection of cereal and no fruit or bread rolls etc as found in some hotels

when we arrived we were met by a lovely lad behind the bar who checked us in and showed us to our room, the room was spotless clean quite a small room for a suite so was glad didn’t go for a standard room..we booked to have a meal in restaurant unfortunately i was feeling very unwell so didn’t eat mine but my wife loved hers..we then went up to bed around 9.30pm but unfortunately could not get to sleep due to the music downstairs in the pub it was very loud and this went on until after 12 so not great..the bed was not the most comfy either and think the mattress either needs upgrading felt quite cheap..felt super tired in the morning due to a restless night then went down for breakfast was a good breakfast but not very hot by any means..the restaurant staff were great very polite and helpful and the bar staff were so lovely engaging in to conversation with us even though they were incredibly busy…the ales and lagers are vast you won’t struggle to choose a drink there is a very wide choice even soft drinks..just wish we could of got a good nights sleep..so if your planning on going on sat night please bare in mind they maybe a dj on until late if you want a relatively early night because you will struggle to get to sleep before 12 at night

The Buck Inn, hotel in Arncliffe

Set in Buckden, within 16 km of Aysgarth Falls and 27 km of Forbidden Corner, The Buck Inn offers accommodation with a bar and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

Great location for exploring the Dales. Great bar, beers/wines and a sunny outside seating area. Good food and wide and varied menu. All food looked freshly cooked from scratch with little evidence of a 'frozen-food' standard offering. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough.

Grassington Lodge, hotel in Arncliffe

In the southern region of the Yorkshire Dales, Grassington Lodge provides comfortable accommodation in the pretty village of Grassington.

Simple, no fuss check-in and check- out. All staff, especially room servicing, willing to go the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. Room was clean with an added bonus of a fridge. Location was excellent with some lovely pubs and shops. A smashing little Indian Restaurant serving top notch food. I've stayed before and will stay again given the opportunity.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Falcoln and the owners and bar staff were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. Also the breakfast was amazing. The surrounding walks are breathtaking and we are already planning to return again in the near future.

From the moment that we walked into The Falcon we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were attentive and catered for our every need throughout our stay and did so with a smile. The food was good and plentiful and it was a pleasure to sit down with a meal and a pint at the end of a days walking. The room was very comfortable and the peace and quiet was a joy. A lovely week and we would return without hesitation. Thanks for looking after us.

If the staff are unfriendly, unapproachable and unhelpful.

If the staff are unfriendly, unapproachable and unhelpful. It does not matter what the rooms like? or Meal? However the way the Falcon Inn advertise a varied menu on their web site and then give us NO CHOICE OF FOOD ONLY SCAMPI is a Disgrace! And the reason why the place ran out of fish is they were SELLING FISH AND CHIPS at the door of the Falcon Inn to LOCAL PEOPLE. Hence our fish was sold. This so wrong on so many levels!!! The Owner & Staff have lost the PLOT. The place is a INN not a FIsh & Chip shop! I am a trained Chef and worked in this field, The Owner should have, Pre Cooked food and fresh food to serve to the Guests with a smile on your face for your guests. And your profits will increase and everyone will be happy!!!
