The room bunkers 8 was very generous in size but the space was wasted. Only one seat apart from sitting on beds and that was a pouffe. No where to relax with a drink to appreciate the splendid large windows and views.

A small, pretty village with a good local pub/restaurant, but no other shops. Nearest local shop is in Tollerton, 1 mile away, which has good picnic supplies made locally (possibly by the shop owner?). Next biggest place is Easingwold, a pretty place with more shops such as a co-op, and also some interesting shops for browsing. There's a nice pub there too.
