Situated in Nefyn, 36 km from Portmeirion, Gwesty Nanhoron Arms Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

The staff are so helpful and lovely. We only stayed 1 night, I wish it was longer. Dinner at the hotel was excellent. It gets busy so I would recommend booking. The room had everything you need. We had to leave early the next day as we was running in a local event, the hotel kindly made us a pack lunch instead of breakfast to take on our run.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a week’s stay in North Wales. It was the perfect spot in which to relax as it is away from the crowds and has a lovely beach. There are a couple of hotels, and one or two gift shops. We stayed and ate at the Ty Gwesty. There appeared to be coastal walks from the village but we didn’t do them.

Aberdaron is a small village at the end of the Llyn...

Aberdaron is a small village at the end of the Llyn peninsula, with a beautiful beach and lots of history, being on the ancient pilgrim route to Bardsey Island. Do visit the 12th Century church of St Hywyn right by the beach. For a small place the local facilities are very good - 2 hotels with good restaurants (stayed at both and recommend both of them), a chippy whch serves lobster and crab, 2 cafes (one in a 9th century building), a bakery with tempting treats and an ice-cream and pizza shop by the beach (recommend their pizzas!)

Absolutely stunning views, a few local shops, the bakery has a lovely selection of cakes and pies and the staff are so helpful. The little cafe in the village is very hit and miss as to when its open, diesnt seem to have any regular opening hours. Both pubs in the village are welcoming we only ate at gwesty, would recommend booking in advanced as gets busy in peak times, especially the terrace with the views overlooking the sea. Will most definitely be back to aberdaron 👍👍👍

Loved being right on Aberdaron’s spectacular beach —fantastic view and so convenient. Room was extremely pleasant, as was the bathroom. All the employees at Ty Newydd couldn’t have been more helpful or more cheerful. Food was also very good, and the restaurant’s outdoor patio hanging over the beach was fabulous.
