Nice period property being carefully and extensively modernised by Patrick and Christine. Exceptionally quiet this tranquil hamlet in the middle of the French countryside surrounded by Sunflower fields. Excellent breakfast with home produce fresh from the garden. I arrived much later than I had hoped, traffic on the roads around Paris. So very sadly I was too late to have dinner but the charming hostess arranged for an omelette, a glass of wine (then a second !) and a dessert, very much appreciated at a late hour and after a long (700 km) drive. The room was plan but entirely functional and comfortable. It represented excellent value for money. I was perfectly content.
