Very pleasant location overlooking the Loire in a lovely town with interesting old buildings. The hotel itself is in a lovely period building but the owners have not made the best of it. It could be stunning but just misses which is a shame. Really needs an interior decorator. We did not eat in the restaurant as it looked like an expensive set menu. We ate at a brasserie in town which was fine but seemed to be the only restaurant open.
