This is an attractive Logis set in the square in the pretty little town of Vaas. It was a great first night stopover for us on our journey from Caen all the way through France and Italy and onwards to Greece. Welcoming staff and a comfortable room overlooking the square. It was unseasonably warm and we were pleased to be able to throw open the windows and look out on the square. Before dinner, we had drinks at the Bar-Tabac across from the Logis. We had a memorably delicious dinner in the Logis restaurant and can highly recommend a visit here. Staff were very pleasant. We didn't have breakfast.
For a stop over the location was good. The owners were quick to recommend some local restaurants but unfortunately because of it being a Monday ( the owners knew) that most were closed. Great breakfast overlooking the garden and lake with boiled eggs, cheese ham etc and good coffee.
