My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Marinca Hotel, and our experience was largely positive. The staff at the hotel truly stood out for their friendliness, genuine care, and professionalism. It was evident that they consistently went the extra mile to ensure our comfort, making us feel valued and special. The two restaurants of the hotel were nice and breakfast was nice too. We particularly enjoyed the hotel's private beach, which offered a breathtaking view and a serene atmosphere, allowing us to relax and unwind. The spa was also very nice and relaxing. To top it all off, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to a larger suite than we had initially booked. The suite was very spacious and well equipped, and had a big terrace with beautiful views over the gulf. The romantic dinner organised by the hotel on the private beach for my wife and I was a delightful experience and we absolutely loved it.

Looks like a US motel when you drive in but do not judge the book by its cover. Inside, the rooms are beautifully appointed and overlook the sea and pool. The beach is surrounded by rocks and quite private. The restaurant was excellent and booking seems sensible.

Location. Set just above the beach. Quite but great views from the balcony rooms. Breakfast was was very good. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
The small village has some great restaurants.

The room offered a nice view on the local harbor and the sea and had a nice terrace. Bed was comfy. The rooms and the hotel were very clean. We had nice beach with crystal clear water at walking distance. The hotel used local products for preparing the meals. We have eaten a nice roasted veal steak with French fries! Sea urchins are also worth trying. Staff were very friendly. My spouse enjoyed a very good massage in the spa. The hotel owner organised a nice boat trip for us, showing part of the coastline and its nice beaches to us.
Hotel Céline is located in Coti-Chiavari, on the west coast of Corsica. It has an outdoor swimming pool, sea views and offers direct access to the beaches on the Portigliolo Bay.

Corsica is a beautiful scenic island with dramatic mountain landscape and wonderful beaches. Ajjacciou is a must see visit. A car is essential but be careful on the roads as they are very windy and narrow. Lovely towns nearby Propriano, Sartene, Olmetto within an hours drive. Filitosa prehistoric site is worth a trip. Eating out is expensive (average 20 euros per main meal) but there are many pizza places which are cheaper.
