My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Marinca Hotel, and our experience was largely positive. The staff at the hotel truly stood out for their friendliness, genuine care, and professionalism. It was evident that they consistently went the extra mile to ensure our comfort, making us feel valued and special. The two restaurants of the hotel were nice and breakfast was nice too. We particularly enjoyed the hotel's private beach, which offered a breathtaking view and a serene atmosphere, allowing us to relax and unwind. The spa was also very nice and relaxing. To top it all off, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to a larger suite than we had initially booked. The suite was very spacious and well equipped, and had a big terrace with beautiful views over the gulf. The romantic dinner organised by the hotel on the private beach for my wife and I was a delightful experience and we absolutely loved it.

Looks like a US motel when you drive in but do not judge the book by its cover. Inside, the rooms are beautifully appointed and overlook the sea and pool. The beach is surrounded by rocks and quite private. The restaurant was excellent and booking seems sensible.
Located in the south-west of Corsica, this 3-star resort is in the heart of Valinco Gulf, a 5-minute drive from the nearest beach.

This was a new experience for us - a tent of thick canvas raised off the ground on decking. The decking extended out with a small table and armchairs, perfect for watching the sunset. Inside the tent was a small kitchenette with all the basic equipment for making a meal, a sleeping area with beds of rough-hewn wood and a big dining table. The shower / toilet block was about 40 yards away (torch useful after dark!) Parking was next to our lodge

Olmeto is a small hillside town with stunning views and not...
Olmeto is a small hillside town with stunning views and not too far away from beaches and other places to visit, such as Sartene which we thought was lovely. There is free parking and a few places to eat. While in Olmeto we ate at Villa Les Orangers (where we stayed) and also Chez Antoine. You would definitely need a car if you were to stay here and with it's situation - steepness, narrowness of footpaths and steps - we wouldn't think it was suitable for those with mobility problems.
The bungalow was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The main hotel complex was just a couple of minutes walk away as was a small beach with good swimming. All of the hotel staff were excellent and so helpful and friendly. They all spoke English.
There are plenty of restaurants along the sea front as well as a small supermarket within a few minutes walk, there is a bigger one 10 minutes drive away in PortoPolo, which is a nice harbour village.
The views from the sea view room were great and the terrace bar and restaurant was superb with great views again.
We had the massage at the spa which again was superb, all the staff were extremely attentive and welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely be back!
Great spacious, clean, and functional room and bathroom. All rooms face the swimming pool and the beach. Small paillotte style restaurant open for both lunch and dinner with good food. Breakfast is also available as a buffet style. The location is fabulous. You just walk out of you room, go through the main lawn to the beach.
I loved the location, just in between 2 small beaches. The modern architecture of the hotel was very nice and enjoyable. Ample parking just in front. The hotel has a very recommendable restaurant including an adjoining pizzeria with a real stone oven. - Very quiet as all rooms are situated towards the sea.
Villa Calanca is an exceptional house with all possible amenities (of v good quality), big rooms, a stunning location and view, great beds all decorated with style and good taste. Mr Dangel is a great and flexible host which made our holidays in Corsica a most memorable one!
The location is perfect, a lot of green, trees and flowers between the accommodations. A super nice swimming pool and restaurants and sea, beach in the immediate neighborhood. When we were there is was very peaceful and quiet, good beds and nice terraces with a BBQ.
The location is spectacular with wonderful views of the sea.
Plenty of parking.
Upgrade to a first floor room to watch magnificent sunsets.
Resort like feel to hotel with beach pool and palm trees but the hotel staff didn’t live up to expectations.
The property is perfect for relaxing in the mountains on the way to Sartene/Propriano or Bonifacio. Small cosy hotel with a pool and the mountain view, also the restaurant for dinner is on site. Parking available. very good value for money.
The hotel is gorgeous. We had a beautiful room with and amazing view. The room had every amenity you could think of. It was clean, new and wonderful. The food at the restaurants was delicious . The service was impeccable.
We enjoyed the peace and the views at this hotel during our stay in the mountains. The location worked well for coastal trips and our visit to the Filitosa site. The hotel was beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable.
Our bungalow was spacious and under lots of trees. Near beaches and Olmeto village. Shady and peaceful. Good facilities with pool laundry facilities and bar and shop. Nice view over Propriano.
