Casa Mila is Cindy and Jeremy’s labour of love. Such a lovely property and amazing hosts. Nestled in the heart of the Loire valley, this is an old house which they have painstakingly restored beautifully to highest standard. The property is well suited for couples and families (we are a family of 3 with a 5 year old). We stayed for 9 nights. Breakfast is absolutely stunning (don’t miss the Casa Mila bowls and the pancakes are to die for). The location is spectacular, right on the Loire river, with a 10 minute walk to the village & local shop, pharmacy & boulangerie. The hosts are very warm, attentive and proud of what they have achieved. The heated pool is a gem, and the newly opened spa facilities look amazing. Cindy & Jeremy gave us plenty of recommendations on places to eat (we tried all their recommendations and each & every one was exceptional) and shop, both locally as well as in the nearby cities of Angers & Saumur. There is also no shortage of Chateaus and vineyards just a short drive away. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Casa Mila, and we will return.

Huge room in a Chateau de Briancon, we were informed that the hotel side of the business funds a charity for Children who use the other half of the property, which probably accounts for the simple furnishings. However, the bed was large and comfortable and the en-suite fantastic. The receptionist, who appeared to also hold every other role, was superb, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for her.
