We have visited St Hippolyte many time in the past and stayed in various places [it is often busy and full]. It is a good place to buy Alsace wine.
One night, we had dinner in the hotel A La Vignette; the food and ambiance was excellent and the table wine very good value. The second night, we went to the Hupsa Pfanala. The market salad was excellent but the main course was awful. We have never had chips cooked to a chocolate brown and the meat was not well cooked. The wine list was hideously expensive and we were charged 8 Euros each for a small glass of indifferent wine; the bottle price was eye watering. They kept bringing us food and drinks we had not ordered and tried to add a Coke to our bill. We will NOT go there again.

The hotel is surrounded with vineyards, beautiful view and very quiet place. We wish could stay longer rent bicycles (e-bicycle is available too) from hotel riding around to see more. Hotel staffs are very friendly and professional. We would definitely comeback at summer time and stay longer. Highly recommended!

Superb hotel set in beautiful countryside.
Superb hotel set in beautiful countryside. Ideal for visiting Colmar. Saint Hippolyte and neighbouring Bergheim a 'must' visit. Good restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast a little cramped in a separate breakfast room. Would have been better in the main restaurant. Staff really friendly and helpful. Free parking opposite the hotel. Wonderful views from the balcony. Would love to visit this hotel again. Highly recommended.

NIce hotel in the middle of the vinyards, close to all known "wine" villages. Easily accessible and lovely country side. Hiking and biking possibilities around. Enjoyed the quietness at night. Due to Covid some aspects might have changed.

This is listed as a Bed and Breakfast but it is so much more. Reception is closed from 10 am to 17 pm but otherwise it is a three star hotel. The room had a private bathroom and was decorated to a high standard. The restaurant specialises in tarte flambee which is a French pizza with the base made from unleaven bread and is very good. The wine list is extensive. It is situared in the middle of the charming village of Saint Hippolyte with free parking across the road by the church.
It's a great property on the Alsace Wine Route, surrounded by vineyards and wine tasting locations. It also has sauna and hammam (included in the price of the room) and what was great was that you can book them for 45 minutes slots just for yourself. The staff was also super nice and proffesional and they helped me with all my requests. The rooms were clean and confortable and the view was lovely (the old church of the village). The property also have free parking spaces.
For once, the wifi of the hotel was really usable. Was it a lack of resident at the hotel or that this hotel wifi was of good quality ? Can't tell, but it was good when we stayed. Around 4MB/s. No problem watching Youtube as an example.
Sad that they removed the Ethernet port from the rooms though. I guess it used to be even better !
The staff at the reception is great and really helpful.
Beautiful hotel, with newly pool and wellness area. Large room with separate bathroom and toilet which is good when you are a family travelling together.
Both our rooms had balcony with view of the countryside.
Walking distance to town centre where we could find a restaurant open.
Nicely located on the wine route, and also close to Haut Königsburg castle which is worth a visit.
Very warm welcome, very friendly hosts - made us and the dog feel very welcome. Our room was nice and the food was just excellent (we enjoyed the menu). The town of Saint-Hippolyte where the hotel is situated in a quiet side street is charming and beautiful. Can only recommend to visit and stay at this lovely place. We will be back.
Everything was perfect, the room was very clean and bathroom was equipped with organic toiletries (soap and shower gel) it's a small detail but it matters. The staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was generous and delicious. If you have a car this place is perfect for visiting all the magnificent villages in Alsace.
We really enjoyed our stay in this guest house. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and very helpful with any questions and recommendations. They made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was superb. The guest house is wonderfully located in a small town near all the highlights of the Alsace wine route.
A very good location to stay. Hotel room is very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is perfect, if you need something extra a friendly staff will always help you. Dinner is excellent. Price quality is great. Saint-Hippolyte is a beautiful place to stay, with very good wine brewery.
This was our 3th time using this place. the 1st time a hotel room the 2nd and 3th a appartement. This has everything and in a fantastic location. The host is super friendly and very service oriented. An extra advantage is the private and secure parking lot.
Lovely hotel in a stunning location staffed by a welcoming and very helpful team. Our room was beautiful with panoramic views over the surrounding village and countryside. The breakfast offers a wide choice of delicious options a great start to the day.
The food was EXCEPTIONAL. The best breakfast we've ever had at a hotel or B&B.
We loved the fact that we were given a suite (3 adult family members in two separate bedrooms was a pleasant surprise!) and that there was a lift/elevator.
The hotel was a great stop-over in the Alsace. The room was big and confortable. The hotel is very well-located, near Colmar and the castle Haut-Koenigsbourg. We had also a very nice dinner at the hotel
The ambiance of the hotel. Bedroom clean and comfortable, tasteful decor throughout the hotel . Spa and pool perfect for relaxing. Both restaurants were amazing ! Looking forward to returning.
Spacious home with a lot of character. It has all the amenities you’d need. Saint-Hippolyte is a very cute town with a perfect location along the wine route. We were welcomed by a lovely host.
Lovely homely but comfortable and welcoming family run hotel. Spotless rooms, amazing food and charming hosts. One of my favourite places in the world.
