Friendly, helpful staff. First class,excellent breakfast. Superb dinner in the evening at the owners’ sister hotel in Loches sur Ource. Good rooms ( although we were given one without a balcony, having paid for a balcony room). But this didn’t matter to us as the weather was too wet to have sat out anyway! The swimming pool area has been improved and looks very attractive.

Great location for a stopover to see the historic Abbay/Prison while walking Via Francigena. Hotel Room had a great view of the Abbay. The restaurant served amazing local dishes... a wonderful treat for hungry pilgrims.
