A lovely cosy atmosphere to the whole place. We arrived on a wet, cold Spring day so the heating was very welcome as was the hot water, so we could have an early evening bath to warm up.
The list of nearby restaurants was very helpful as we were able to book ahead and walk to the restaurant.

Everything, location, property, service.
Brilliant property in the old town, yet with convenient street parking.
Seriously well equipped home with lots of bedrooms, lots of light, wonderful people (we didn't see them after check-in, but they were so welcoming).
Amazing showers.
And a BBQ in the private courtyard.
A rare find!

Loches is the perfect little town with lots of history, cute shops and plenty of places to eat. It has a beautiful walk along the river and plenty of green spaces as well as the historic buildings and cobbled streets in the old town. Everything is within walking distance.

Loches is a very quite town/village and there is not much happening there especially in the evenings. There are only a handful of restaurants, one of which is very recommendable P'tit Restau.
We hope that on our next visit there will be less rain.

Loches is well worth a visit and wandering around the ancient cobbled streets a must. We had too short a time to explore properly and next time will allow a full day to do so. Highly recommend as a place to stop en route up France to the Channel ports to the UK.

The staircase was as expected, very, very old but useable for me even with bad knees. Just had to be careful.
Location was absolutely ideal (once car parked nearby) and room was great. Very friendly staff.
We ate at restaurant which can be seen from room window. Excellent.
I recommend that you phone owners once you are in town to show you directions.

The only reason our stay was too long was that it got quite a bit colder than expected a couple of days before our trip. We wanted to bicycle around the various chateaus and towns, but it was too chilly and rainy for that. It was a nice base to see several chateaus, but there are only so many we could take in, after a while it was too much.
The hotel has been created in a beautiful old palais de justice building in the centre of Loches. There is a large, free car park directly in front of the entrance. The Queen room we booked was well-equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with an extensive, good quality buffet including bacon and eggs as well as continental choices. The coffee machine provided good quality drinks. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also very enjoyable.
For us, an added bonus was that we could take our dog along too.
The host and hostess were delightful. The wife spoke English well enough to for someone who did not speak French to speak with and the husband, who spoke virtually none, was happy to chat with me about a wide variety of subjects, particularly his garden. The hot chocolate was homemade and delicious, and their cat Albert was happy to give us our cat fix far from our own.
The town was well-situated for excursions to the castles in the Loire Valley, and there were restaurants available about a 15 minute walk from the hotel.
I had a wonderful 2 nights at La Little Maison. The property is super charming and the location is perfect. Olivier and Chako are truly lovely, helpful and kind in every way. They have thought of everything you might need. My room was great, quiet and comfortable. The food was terrific. I've been traveling in France for the past 7 weeks. This was by far my best hotel experience. I will definitely be returning.
Thé location was excellent but at first it was pretty hard to find. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. While we were there it had rained and we stayed in the apartment and cooked dinner one night. The parking was great, and believe me this is very helpful in a small village like Loches. The castle is right next to the apartment and you can even see it from the window.
The experience of staying in a cave was absolutely unique, comfortable, and very pleasant. We loved being able to stroll to the beautiful city of Loches. Our hosts were super helpful and took very good care of us. Our breakfasts were homemade and very tasty. Parking was easy and included. There were several conveniently-located picnic tables. right outside the gate. We loved our stay!
The location to the town was excellent. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
I would definitely stay there again. It was a beautiful building. And a large free car park outside the hotel. Dog friendly, and she got a little treat from reception.
The location was an easy walk into Loches. The house itself was clean and welcoming, Monsieur and Madame were very helpful and let us park our very old car within the perimeter of the property. Our room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom facilities excellent. The cost included breakfast.
Everything! Beautiful apartment. Fantastic location. Historic centre, shops etc just outside hotel gates. Market was 2 min walk away in the cente Bus and train stops very close by. Staff were very professional and welcoming. Lovely pool and terrace for relaxing.
Excellent location in old Loches.
Very large apartment: well equipped kitchen on the ground floor, huge living room on first floor, large bedroom on 2nd floor and two more bedrooms on 3rd floor... and an old spiral wooden staircase connecting it all.
Everything! Sincere and friendly hosts, historic building tastefully renovated, charming and comfortable room, great location, good breakfast, terrace and bar for an evening drink … and Loches is a beautiful town. And three cute cats!
Amazing location right outside the city walls of Loches. Super comfortable and really cute with a green theme that I appreciated. Host was so kind and helpful when we booked on a short notice and we still had everything we would need!
Isabelle and Bernard were the most perfect hosts and could not have been kinder or more helpful. It is the best chambres d’hote that we have visited and would most certainly return when we are next in France.
Large historic building in the heart of the old town, with its own garden. Loches is amazing and the Gite du Chevalier was part of that. Great place for a lovely and relaxing week.
