I had a very pleasant stay at Gîte de Sidonie. Made some beautiful hikes on which the owner advised me and even one day picked me up from Bibracte so that I could hike there from the gîte. The gîte is very spacious, the photos don’t do it justice. There is a huge terrace out the back and a garden to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom was clean and spacious as well. The place is located close to many of the main attractions in the region.
The gîte is actually attached to a sheep farm where the owner’s daughter makes yoghurt and cheese (very nice!). No worries about flies taking over, they are there but the gîte is well protected from them by window covers.
