This was a delightful place to stop for the first night of our holiday. We were made to feel welcome and felt that all of our needs had been met. We had our own entrance from the garden, the pretty bedroom was well appointed, and the ensuite bathroom was spacious and accessible for anyone with reduced mobility. The breakfast provided by Françoise the following morning was magnificent!

Lovely farm houses within a big garden property at the riverside, nicely decorated rooms, shared kitchen and great breakfast.
Concerning dinner: There might be no open restaurants around, so just in case bring your own food to prepare dinner.

You are always assured of a good welcome and helpful hand with luggage and other needs. The outlook of our room (we have been many times before) gives onto the most beautiful orchard in full bloom.

The stay was perfect, it is a really charming room on a great location. It is pretty remote, so you will need to have a car to get there. Great area for running as well, the panorama point was a really good tip from the owner. I needed to be in Rouen for work, but prefer to sleep outside of cities for which this was perfect.

The surrounding areas ,towns villages are absolutely beautiful .unfortunately the house was awful .it was dirty and very poorly maintained if at all.we arrived late due to the ferry and customs.i received wrong information for the keys location and with minimal french speaking managed to get a nearby resident to source the location of the key fob .when entering the house there was urine in the pan .we went to bed after unloading both cars and when we woke in the morning to our horror .there was rat poo by the back door ,a filthy kitchen which was unusable unless you wanted to risk being ill .old food in the fridge and freezer .a unusable hoover so I had to purchase one .this was totally unacceptable and will never stay here again .the house needs modernising.there are sockets hanging off the walls upstairs which are quite clear dangerous .there are no local amenities that are less 30mins walk away .the bedding is old and tired .the oven only had one shelf which had to be scrubbed .

Jumièges was a lovely stop over location close to Rouen.
Jumièges was a lovely stop over location close to Rouen. There were several bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. A great shop offering cheeses, meats and local cider. Jumièges Abbey is the main draw to this small village. The village is very close to the river Seine.
We ate at Le Rocket which served a great choice of french cusine. Wine, Beer and Cider were all great.

The village is quite small, everything could be reached by foot. There are few restaurants in the village that also look nice. We came late in the evening and had to go to creperie which was still open. They served us though it was after 9. p.m. and there was nobody in the restaurant. We also bought some chees and cidre for a reasonable price.
One remark though: you have to pay entrance fee if you want to visit the monastery (abbaye) although there nothing to see, but the ruines. You can see the same for free from the outside... Promotion of cultural heritage could be done also with cheaper entry fees.
The location is outstanding right next to the River Seine. The grounds are full of interest with attractive planting, peacocks, poultry and bees. The breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed chatting with other guests over the breakfast table. The layout of our suite with a bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge suited us very well. Madame was very helpful and communicative (good opportunity to practise French). We also enjoyed (among other things): the city of Rouen, Jumièges Abbey and a beer at the local golf club.
The location and set up of this place is all done to ensure you get peace and quiet. the rooms are set into 'houses' with 3 rooms each, so no noisy corridors etc. The main reception building doubles as the breakfast room, you order what you want and they provide it, as well as lots of other options to choose from. It's set right in the heart of Jumieges village, easy walking to the restaurants and the abbey and a little further to the Seine. Our was spacious and had everything we needed.
Lovely hotel in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Set in a great location away from the road, so there is no traffic sound but you can access the little village on foot within a few minutes. Good size suites with comfortable beds . Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities with a choice of drinks including decaffeinated coffee. Bathrobes in the bathroom . Friendly receptionist who was very helpful . Plenty of parking spaces.
we were looking for somewhere relaxing to stopover on our way back to the channel tunnel and this was about half way. First time I`ve visited this part of Normandy and I feel I`ve been missing out. Lovely area and this pretty boutique hotel was the relaxing stay I`d hoped it would be, I only wish we had stayed a few days more. Really pretty location in the countryside but on the edge of a village
Beautiful, spacious room with direct access to the garden (and sun deck), in a tranquil setting on the outskirts of Jumièges. An easy 1.5km stroll into the centre for dinner and a fridge at the disposal of guests. Breakfast was tasty and copious, with fresh bread, croissants, crepes, a selection of home-made jams and fresh fruit salad. Couldn't have asked for more!
Really nice countryside stay just outside Jumièges. The grounds boarder river Seine, lovely to sit watching the river on a warm July evening. The breakfast was great, the best yet of the four places we’ve stayed at during our biketrip along the Seine. The lady running the place was really sweet and service minded.
