Incredible city in lovely Normandy! A lot of wonderful traditional French architecture, roof tops with ardoise, a lot of boats in the port, seagulls - you will find much more than you can imagine! We like Normandie very much, we stayed in Deauville-Trouville-sur-Mer many times and decided to research sea cost far up to La Havr. So we arrive to Honfleur only just to walk during a day, but - we stayed for night))) and after that for one more night))) If you really like France and especially Normandy, you will never tire of walking there, no matter how long you are there!

A very touristy place to visit.
A very touristy place to visit. Lots of places to eat and drink that get packed very early for lunch and dinner. Not cheap. No need to go back but I can see why some people would be attracted to the quayside etc.

An absolutely lovely town visually, with a 16-17th core and one great modern(ish) art gallery (Eugène Boudin) plus one v quirky museum (Satie). It's stuffed with private art galleries (some of them excellent) and restaurants (most decidedly average, but then even average moules frites are v nice); that's because it's tourism central, with the old part of town wall-to-wall holiday lets and the streets thronged with rubbernecking tourists (including us). The rest of the town, around the edges of the vieux ville, is pleasant enough, with real shops and local inhabitants. The beach, a short way out of town, is long, sandy and vast; the viewpoints above the town are worth visiting both for the views and the quirky Notre Dame de Grace; and Honfleur is well placed for visiting the likes of Deauville and Trouville, Le Havre (another fine museum/gallery, with lots of Raoul Dufy), Etretat (forget the town, it's hell trying to find somewhere to park: make for the gardens up above it), and Calvados country generally (for the local markets and local produce. Like Calvados)

A pretty coastal town in Normandy where many artists lived.
A pretty coastal town in Normandy where many artists lived. The Boudin museum is worth a visit. The celebrities sculpture park (Garden of Fame) is great for a walk - beautiful, well maintained, peaceful. (Free public toilets.)The old town has interesting architecture, but the area around the harbour is full of tourists, sundry shops and eating places catering for the crowds....

Honfleur was such a delight , we decided to stay an extra night than originally planned, so much to see.
Plenty of history with historic and beautiful buildings around the harbour.
So many restaurants, cafes, shops and bars.
Every meal we had was delicious, serving time was quite lengthy, everywhere was extremely busy.
A pretty place to visit. I would like to stay again but longer next time.

Honfleur is very pretty, especially the harbour.
Honfleur is very pretty, especially the harbour. It's stuffed with restaurants of all kinds, many specialising in seafood. We went there during very exceptional hot weather (for early September), and it was crowded. It might be better to visit a bit more out of season.
There probably is a beach within walking distance, but having a car we went quite a long way to a fabulous beach at Blonville-sur-Mer, which was recommended by someone from Honfleur. There is a good restaurant on the beach itself.
Just returned from a lovely weekend in this fairytale oasis in Honfleur.
The buildings and garden are magical, a short stroll into town and a perfect spot to explore Honfleur and further afield.
We stayed in Room 1 (four poster suite) directly above the breakfast room which was lovely. We both agreed that it is so rare to reach a hotel and be truly amazed at the surroundings with so many tiny, historical details everywhere. The entrance is breathtaking.
Friendly, helpful owner (apologies for my bad French and the need to use English). Beautiful house and furnishings. 3 comfortable chairs in the room was sheer luxury. Ideal location a few minutes walk from parking in one direction and the harbour, cafes and restaurants in the other.
Perfect stay for us, just a pity we didn't book 2 nights. If passing this direction in future we'd definitely book again.
This place was absolutely lovely. Family friendly. Amazing indoor swimming pool and trampoline for children. The breakfast was delicious. The apartment was warm, inviting, and peaceful. The beds were comfortable. The place was luxury at its finest. We will definitely be back and stay much longer.
Michaela was delightful and very helpful.
The goats were a wonderful bonus!
A quintessential French Hotel and cafe. Perfect location to explore Honfleur. We stayed in the family room at the front of the hotel and it was perfect! Great sized bed settee for two and a coffee machine in the room!
Lovely, simple French breakfast in the morning served outside in their sweet little cafe.
Loved it! Definitely stay again.
Very clean and modern room. Friendly staff. Lovely pool and spa area but is an extra cost of 6€ per person. You can see the toll bridge from the hotel and it’s spectacular! 5 minutes to drive into the centre of Honfleur. Free parking. Also large shopping centre including a Leclerc 1 minute walk away.
The location was just perfect, in the center of Honfleur with parking space closeby. The house is old but nice and cozy. The appartment offers enough space on two floors under the roof. The bed was good, I slept very wel, and the facilities OK. I can recommend this studio to everyone
Although advertised as budget, these small hotels are really great for short stopovers and are better than any other form of accommodation considered to be budget. Location here is excellent, just a 3 minute walk into the centre of Honfleur. There is free parking nearby too.
This place is extremely comfortable, very guest oriented and serves a marvellous breakfast. Sandrine was extremely perceptive to our specific needs and was always gracious. We are from Canada, travel yearly in France, and would love to return here, it was so special.
Very cozy, homey stay! Loved the unique, personal touches in each and every room. Beautiful location on the hill overlooking Honfleur. Just close enough to walk into town, but still offered privacy and a little seclusion from the busier city center.
Very nice hotel in "old" style but still fresh and renovated large rooms with AC. Free parking, friendly staff, amazing garden, nice pool and a good breakfast just a 5 minutes walk from harbour and restaurants in the beautiful city of Honfleur.
The hotel was an oasis in Honfleur. It was set in beautiful gardens (with breakfast outside) and consisted of a number of buldings which were all part of the hotel. Our room was spacious and quiet. We would definitely return.
Gaelle was that absolute most gracious, welcoming and helpful host for our first day in France. What a beautiful property and wonderful people. We will be back! Thank you for the great hospitality 🥰
This hotel is ideally located for visiting Honfleur with a large secure car park. It is only about 15 minutes walk from the centre. The rooms are modern and clean and a good breakfast is included.
Well located in central Honfleur, near the harbor. Super clean and thoughtfully appointed. Comfortable bed, good lighting, good water pressure in shower. Responsive and friendly host.
Comfortable hotel….. quiet location.
