As always the place was welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. It's a bit difficult at the moment as the village square is completely impassable due to roadworks but despite this the welcome was as I would have expected (I've stayed there before).
The rooms were clean and tidy everything was as it should be.
We had dinner in the restaurant, and again, the meals were good value with a great choice of courses and drinks.
One of my favourite places to stop in Normandy. Out of the main rush of the coastal route but close enough to all the places you might want to visit.
Set in a stone building dating from the 19th century, Les Villas d'Arromanches, The Originals Relais is located 100 metres from Arromanches in the Normandy region.

Very warm and professsional reception. Enjoyed the night cap.
Facing the sea and the famous museum of the Allies Normandy landings of 1944, The La Marine Hotel enjoys the best location of the area fitted in a beautiful bay between two steep rocks.

Firstly, what excellent reception staff - they really helped us and made us welcome on arrival. They gave us a diabled car parking space behind the hotel which prevented us from having to park some distance away - a real bonus!! The hotel also has an elevator (lift) which again was a real bonus as my wife requires a new knee so stairs are a difficulty. Location is fabulous with sea views. Room clean, warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here!
Excellent hotel in the heart of the British and Canadian...
Excellent hotel in the heart of the British and Canadian areas of the D-Day landings. Set in a small village in beautiful surroundings, the hotel is very peaceful. It has a wide variety of accommodation within the hotel plus the proprietor owns other holiday accommodation nearby. Own transport is best (there is plenty of free parking) as public transport in the village is limited. All the D-Day beaches, including the two American beaches, are easily accessible as are the towns of Bayeaux and Caen.

An interesting village on the D Day route, with a memorial to the Green Howards in the village together with information boards about the Landings set throughout the village. It had easy access to both the Beaches and to Bayeux.

Apart from the wonderful hotel, there is nothing else there.
Apart from the wonderful hotel, there is nothing else there. There aren't any other bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, or anything of interest. If you want to get away from it all, and walk around some countryside then it is perfect but I can think of other places that can be a retreat but with some other things to do.
Manoir de Mathan , was the perfect setting for a wonderful holiday.
It was such a special place to use as a base in the delightful village of Crepon.
It's perfect for anyone wanting to visit the d day sites and explore the area by car or to take advantage of the amazing trails by bike.
Isabelle is very hands on and pleasantly tolerant of our inability to grasp the language.
This is a beautiful hotel i a lovely region of France and perfectly placed for visiting the Normandy beaches and other WW2 sites : lovely buildings and grounds which we sadly could not explore as we were both ill!! The kind receptionist gave us an upgraded room. I hope to come back one day to explore what they have to offer!
Loved the beautiful setting and super friendly owners and staff. The location was so close to all the Normandy historical sites so we had easy access. The patio was lovely to have drinks in the evening and breakfast in morning. We loved our entire stay here (5 nights) and would highly recommend.
This was one of if not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed. It is like staying in a historic museum, but comfortable and convenient like a modern hotel. I would love to come back and stay longer. The scenery is beautiful, the property is amazing, the staff is so nice. We loved it!
Beautiful hotel with excellent breakfast in a very convenient area to visit Normandy - you can breathe the countryside atmosphere and drive to all the main sights, monuments and beaches. Pet friendly.
Location was wonderful for touring the historic Normandy sites. Loved that it was not in a large city/town. Grounds and building were gorgeous! Hostess was lovely and helpful with reservations.
