A tranquil and picturesque village location not far from the A28 and off the Niort-Limoges/Angouleme road. The Auberge offers a short but good menu and a quiet night. Parking on site. The village is dominated by its magnificent Abbey church and associated gardens. It comes alive during its August music festival but otherwise is a sleepy place to visit. The hotel management leave the guests to their own devices after 11pm.
