An authentic French chateau steeped in History. I loved it and wished I could have stayed longer but will definitely return. The Chateau and the gardens are gorgeous, full of French Antique furniture, very homely and unpretentious.

We just LOVED everything about this beautiful place! Sonia is delightful and charming, the perfect hostess with exquisite taste and superlative kindness . La Grenouillère is a lovely home which Sonia and Florian share with their guests with warmth and genuine love. Their welcome is amazing : a nice fire in the chimney, exquisite decoration , fabulous breakfast, great bedroom with a very comfortable bed. And, as a treat, we got to meet their beautiful cat, Coco Demoiselle, who normally stays out of guests' quarters.
Thank you so much Sonia and Florian for looking after us like special friends. We loved meeting you both and one of you beautiful daughters. Looking forward to coming back on our next trip down to France.

Beautiful chateau and very comfortable. Bruno and his wife were most helpful and friendly with lots of suggestions and advice. Delicious breakfast with fresh croissants daily. Ask for a room on the first floor as they are bigger and still have lovely views.
WE were traveling from Dordogne to Normandy and opted to stop along the way. Kyriad Tours Sud Ballan Mire was the perfect stop over. easy to reach from our travel route. The staff recommended a nearby restaurant that was delicious and within walking distance. the rooms were clean, bright and comfortable with a self-serve buffet breakfast in the morning.
This property has been beautifully decorated and renovated and is made of different types of accommodations from hotel room in the chateau, gite on the ground and converted stable.
This is where we stayed and this duplex appartment was comfortable and made with good quality of materials.
The swimming pool is beautiful and the nordic bath looks dreamy.
Great hotel to spend a night in with family. we booked a family room and had two interconnecting rooms which was great.
The rooms are spacious and kept very clean. The beds were comfy and black out curtains were excelled to block the sunlight.

this is a new hotel and very well presented. the lady checking us in also ran the bar , and heated the food brought in from a local restaurant. was on her own and worked very hard to keep everyone happy.
