It is a strikingly handsome building right next to a Bavarian castle. It feels glamorous just pulling up in the car. Inside it has a grand yet cosy ambience, the restaurant area is all heavy oak woodwork and hand painted panels with local scenes. The staff were very cheerful and helpful, we felt comfortable right away after our long drive. It's a great stop off on a drive from the UK ferries to Italy or vise-versa. It's a five minute walk into town.
Very good location for a tour using public transport. Voehringen station is a few minutes' walk from the hotel and has an hourly service to both Memmingen and Ulm, with connections to Lindau, Oberstdorf and Muenchen/ Stuttgart and the Southern Black Forest respectively. Restaurant serving excellent food, outside in the pleasant courtyard when the weather permits.

Located just off the A-7 freeway not far south from Ulm, and about 10 minutes from plenty of shopping in Senden, the hotel caters to both business and family travelers. It is was my 3rd stay in the hotel. It is a perfect hotel for one night stay if you are on the road. Close to the highway, modern rooms, tasty breakfast. The petrol station with McDonalds is next to the hotel.
