This is a great apartment for 6 people, and the living/dining area is a real bonus. Breakfast was excellent with a large buffet and freshly cooked eggs to order. Cooking facilities are provided although there are good restaurants in the village and in Oberammergau which is only 3km away, reached by walking, langlauf, bus or train!

Excellent location in the mountains, close to Munich, Garmisch P., Neuschwanstein and other important tourism objects. Everything was clean and comfy, small but nice wellness centre. Very nice staff, worked very hard to make everyone comfortable. Great place to visit with kids - as a family of five we felt very well taken care of and they did everything we asked for.

If you stay in Unterammergau, you must be aware of your reasons for staying there, it is a very secluded mountain village with nothing there, you need a car to travel to there and around there, there is no other mode of transport, except bus or train and coffee, groceries, anything, needs to be bought somewhere else.

It's a peaceful village.
It's a peaceful village. We stayed there in Summer and used it as a starting point for all our planned trips (by car, because of our toddler). Clean air, mountains all around, it's a really pleasant place.
Breakfast was very good and the service excellent. We were checked in by Carmen, she was amazing, professional, friendly and courteous. Always helpful with every request. The restaurant was very accommodating and the food and it's presentation was exceptional. Excellent location to Oberamergau for the Passion Play. The hotel provided transportation to and from the hotel and play. The distance by car was 10 minutes. They also provided a meal during the intermission break of the play.
This hotel was amazing. Peaceful and calm, and the staff was exceptional. They made an effort to acknowledge you each day and the waitress/server in the morning was fantastic! The hotel concept is pretty neat- there are only 12 rooms I believe so it's quiet and in a secluded area. I loved being able to walk my dog in the trails behind the hotel. Restaurant was delicious, just make sure you have time to savor the experience as food is prepared to perfection.
The friendly hosts that met us at the door and showed us in. The nice comfy room and beds with the very nice view over the mountains.
The house is very close to the little town of Unterammergau and only about 4 kilometers from Oberammergau.
Although they don't provide breakfast we can certainly promote the Aurhammer Backerei which provides the most amazing local cuisine. Absolutely fabulous and at a very good price!
The hotel is in a fantastic location, silent and beautiful. The room was very comfortable, provided with kettle and coffee machine also. The staff was very polite, dinner was FANTASTIC, breakfast was delicious. We really suggest the Lartor Boutique Hotel if you're searching for comfort, relax and great food. We wish we'll be ablo to return if the future.
