This is an apartment rental and tenants are responsible for their own food. I preferred this personally and was able to make my own coffee (coffee maker and hot water cooker provided). All of the required kitchen equipment was provided along with plates, glasses, frying pans etc..The facility was very clean and spacious, the bed comfortable and plenty of towels and wash cloths. The home owner lives close by and is extremely friendly and helpul. I called him a few times and he responded and was helpful. Overall a great stay and look forward to staying here again if available.

The hotel is right at the center of Oberammergau and hence all attractions are within walking distance. The room was very spacious with two levels as indicated in the booking. The mountain views were truly beautiful. The staff was very friendly and even guided us as and when required.
The breakfast could probably be improved to include various other options like Vegan, Salmon etc.

This little fairy tale town is amazing with cozy hotels and accommodation options available. A visit to the town center is a must. They have nice souvenir shops and amazing dining options too. The souvenir shops have amazing collection of items and all the shop owners we have interacted with are very polite, warm and welcoming.

Good location just minutes from the main area of Oberammergau. Easy access to the main highway (23). Nice views of the mountains. Has everything you need for a visit and very comfortable for the 4 of us. The hosts were very communicative and even put up a Christmas tree for us free of charge.
Not really a negative thing but be aware this is an older building and the ceilings are quite low. I am 185.5CM tall and any taller and I would not be able to stand up in many of the rooms. Two of the bedrooms are in areas with slanted ceilings or lower than 170CM

There is a great variety of things to do in Oberammergau and in the nearby villages and countryside. Although the presence of tourists is obvious, they are not oppressively omnipresent - at least at the end of September, and the area's undoubted beauty appears in no way to have been marred by tourism.

Its a beautiful place having good connectivity to Munich as well as Partenkirchen. Although the bus frequency is adequate during the day time, it ceases by 7:00 or 8:00 PM. So plan your days accordingly if you are using public transport. Rest everything is good.

Our stay was to visit such sights as Zugspitze, Eibsee, and Schloss Neuschwanstein. It was a great location for all of those, Oberammergau is an attraction in itself full of beautiful buildings, history, restaurants (Bavarian and otherwise), shops, and access for hiking/walks. The history of Oberammergau hosting the Passion Play should not be overlooked.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The rooms had an upgrade not too long agoo and are WAY better than the current booking.com pictures suggest. We booked the family room which turned out to be the suite just outside the hotel (on the same grounds, just not connected) which was totally awesome! Big and freshly renovated/built. Exceptional.
Would totally come back here again and also recommend to others!
The location is also great and Oberammergau is a very nice little town with loads of character and enough to do.
Was expecting a small apartment and was pleasantly surprised by a large, very clean apartment in a perfect location in Oberammergau. House had everything a renter needed including a full kitchen with all cooking utensils supplied as well as clothes washer and dish washer. Only a few blocks to downtown Oberammergau. passion play theater and bus station. Many restaurants close by. Perfect place to stay for a great price. Will accommodate families easily.
Everything was very very nice.
The only thing that was a little disturbing, is the fact that the curtains in our room were not blackout ones. So the room was "alighted" by the street lamp and by daylight (early sunrise).
It is not the case for all the rooms.
I recommend the hotel, though. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

the staff is so friendly and helpful. when I was cold in my room, I was brought a room space heater. and when it was raining, I and 2 other ladies were taken to the Passionspiele and also picked up by the hotel staff. and the food at the restaurant is excellent!
The best location, close to everything in Oberammergau. We appreciated the parking space and the apartment was wonderful: extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the beautiful, historic buildings and activity.
I stayed in hotel with my family. We got a big room on upper floor with large double bed and sofa-bed for two kids. The room was clean and spatious with nice view towards the centre of Oberammergau. Kids enjoyed swimming pool and pancakes for breakfast!
The homey atmosphere and the wonderful decor that felt like Bavaria! Also the owner was very attentive to his guests and had done a superb job of renovating the chalet type hotel so it was comfortable and currant. The food was exceptional!!
A very nice stay in the very center of Oberammergau, although very quiet. Bakery, restaurant, bus station - everything is located in the walking distance. Very good contact to the owner who lives just next to this house.
I very much enjoyed this hotel. Everyone was warm and hospitable. The breakfast was great and hit the spot. The location itself is phenomenal for those getting off the bus or train. 10/10, highly recommend.

Cozy apartment was a nice break from the hotels we stayed at. It was nice to “eat in” and have some room to spread out here. Everything we needed was there, even coffee!
