Good location just minutes from the main area of Oberammergau. Easy access to the main highway (23). Nice views of the mountains. Has everything you need for a visit and very comfortable for the 4 of us. The hosts were very communicative and even put up a Christmas tree for us free of charge.
Not really a negative thing but be aware this is an older building and the ceilings are quite low. I am 185.5CM tall and any taller and I would not be able to stand up in many of the rooms. Two of the bedrooms are in areas with slanted ceilings or lower than 170CM

There is a great variety of things to do in Oberammergau and in the nearby villages and countryside. Although the presence of tourists is obvious, they are not oppressively omnipresent - at least at the end of September, and the area's undoubted beauty appears in no way to have been marred by tourism.

Its a beautiful place having good connectivity to Munich as well as Partenkirchen. Although the bus frequency is adequate during the day time, it ceases by 7:00 or 8:00 PM. So plan your days accordingly if you are using public transport. Rest everything is good.

Our stay was to visit such sights as Zugspitze, Eibsee, and Schloss Neuschwanstein. It was a great location for all of those, Oberammergau is an attraction in itself full of beautiful buildings, history, restaurants (Bavarian and otherwise), shops, and access for hiking/walks. The history of Oberammergau hosting the Passion Play should not be overlooked.
Charming, charming, charming. My wife was completely enthralled with how cute and comfortable this little apartment was...as was I. Cornelia, our host, met us with our key and provided us with a tour of the property as well as some great information about the local attractions. We had everything we needed for our short stay from cookware to corkscrews. It's definitely a place you could stay for a week or two. Oberammergau isn't very big, so everything is within easy walking distance; and the town is beautiful!
Absolutely fantastic place! Wonderful hosts, very spacious and warm 🙂
The location is excellent - beautiful view of the mountains and an easy walk to town through the village. We could park our car onsite which was easier than driving into the village and finding a paid carpark.
Oberammergau is gorgeous and has everything you need. It's close to all the amazing attractions in the Garmish area. Highly recommended!!
Breakfast starts at 07.00 and ends at 09.00 weekdays. Hours change to 08.00-10.00 on the weekend. Although I found it a little bit poorer in terms of the varieties compare to other hotels I've stayed in Oberammergau, it was sufficient enough to start a day.
Although it was just by the church, I was not so much disturbed by the bell ringing thanks to the good isolation of windows.
This is a really nice hotel. Our room truly was a "suite". It was large, modern and comfortable with a wrap around balcony. Free onsite parking. Great location. Breakfast area has an honor bar and coffee machine. Breakfast was wonderful with eggs cooked to order. Nice value too!
It was lovely. Rooms are definitely more than standard hotel rooms and in a lovely building of the local type. Location was excellent for walking around town, breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Free car parking. Couldn't fault it.
Truly enjoyed this apartment! It was big and spacious and the bathroom was great! Beds were comfortable and I was able to get good sleep each night. Great place in Oberammergau and close to shopping and restaurants. I loved my stay here!
The location of the hotel is fairly central but in a quiet location and with the benefit of private parking. The town itself is very attractive with many beautiful old buildings. Breakfast was very comprehensive and well presented.
the location was great located in Oberammergau very close to the Passion Play. The facilities are apartments so they are more roomy than a hotel room and the facilities to prepare meals if you so desire.
Incredibly cozy and quite neighborhood. This was the second time I stayed here, and have decided whenever I intend to go to the Oberammergau/Garmisch area, I will first look for availability here.
Been dining at the restaurant for years -- first time staying at the hotel. Will return. Very few guests were staying in the hotel and the restaurant ensured we had a great breakfast.
The rooms are very spacious and bathrooms and shower are great. We had dinner at the restaurant from the hotel itself and dinner was really good, definitely a recommendation.
Hotel was clean and comfortable; Evening meal was great although couldn't get a drink or food until 7pm. Didn't really eat at breakfast but looked as you would expect.
Location was perfect for centre of Oberammergau. Everything you could walk to. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a budget room and it was great
The hotel is nice and rooms are well appointed. the location is excellent. It is right in them middle of town with shops around. The restaurant is really good as well
