Saw New Years fireworks in the valley from our balcony! Good location for the Black Forest, was 45 min drive to full snow in feldberg, which was amazing on New Years Day!

House Miriam is absolutely beautiful. We stayed there for three nights, and it was incredibly relaxing. The apartment is bright, clean, situated on the first floor and boasts a fully equipped kitchen. There's also a spacious living room with a balcony where you can sit and savor the view. The bathroom is modern, generously sized, with a shower over the bath and a large mirror above the sink. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. In every room, you can hear the soothing sounds of cowbells, a babbling stream, and chirping crickets in the evening. It truly offers an idyllic experience. And the air smells incredible.
The Host is a delightful and warm lady. She speaks English very well and makes you feel incredibly welcome. We fell in love with House Miriam and everything it had to offer. We would absolutely love to spend our holiday there again.

It is a very cosy place and very well furnished. It has a very homely vibe. It was very convenient to check in and the owners are very helpful. The views from the property are amazing. You dont have cellphone reception at times but the wifi is very fast and reliable.

We, luckily having local knowledge, ate well at Gasthof Sonne and also at Camping Münstertal.
Avoid Hotel Linde, unless you enjoy arrogant and indifferent staff and zero service.
The hotel had many wooden carvings and charming details that reflected its true mountain spirit. The view from the bedroom terrace was very relaxing. I was surprised by the amount of toiletries and small necessities the bathroom had. The room was very quiet and cozy and room temperature was easily adjustable with excellent energy saving thermostat. I loved the breakfast that had a lot of choices for a healthy and tasty start of my day. Oh yeah...Marie Schwartzwald robot is so much fun and excellent addition to the busy team.
very nice innovative hotel with a green touch on top of the Schauinsland mountain. Our apartment under the roof was awesome and we even had a partial view down to the city of Freiburg from our balcony. Our beds were very comfortable.The wifi worked very well and there is a sauna on the premises and a breakfast buffet is offered in the mornings for an extra charge. There is also a restaurant on the premises. The staff at the reception was very nice and friendly.

The property is located near to the terminus of the Munstertal railway which gives easy access to Staufen and the main railway line at Bad Krozingen. With the local Konus Card, included with the local Tourist Tax, travel is free by public transport throughout the area.
Absolutely everything! New, clean and in the great location in the close proximity to the cable car/ bus stop. Hiking trails starts right behind the hotel. Fantastic view from the balcony. Extremely friendly and helpful stuff, outstanding hospitality attitude. Sauna and yoga room with a view is such a fantastic bonus to morning / evening rituals in the nature. Thank you! An exceptional experience due to the very unique location, view, cleanliness of the room. Not to forget the restaurant with a nice mixed menu as well as a healty good breakfast. A super friendly staff is welcoming you to the hotel, explaining all facilities and amenities as well as options to spend a great time.
Nice hotel in the middle of the nature. The staff was super kind, sauna and pool very good and I could relax a lot. The rooms are good, the breakfest is also good, and you can book the dinner if you wnat (food was really delicious). They do a little event in the afternoon with fire and Glühwein.

Brand new hotel with large family apartments. Our room was big enough for our five person family with three little kids (age 5, 3, 1). Hiking trail on the backside of the hotel. Good restaurant, but only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
