The first day I asked to heat some water for the baby, they gave me hot water for tea, which I never used, but paid for.
One tip, avoid eating in restaurants, very poor quality of food, and prices that are absurd compared to quality of food, long waiting times (we waited for 1 hour for food to arrive).
Really poor breakfast, in some 2-star hotels you eat better.

We ended up in Badenweiller quite by accident. The hotel that we had booked for our overnight stop from Italy to the UK........did not meet out expectations on our journey to Italy 2 weeks before. So we cancelled and happened upon a beautiful hotel in Badenweiller. This little town itself was breathtaking. Beautiful views and beautiful restaurants. Everyone was lovely and we will definately be returning.
We stayed at the Hotel Markgräfler Hof and ate at the Ratskeller restaurant, where the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Nice little charming town in the Black Forest region, Germany. Clean, quiet, the scenery, the food, the History, everything’s great about this place and of course the hot springs, it is simple, it is like Japan but in Germany.
I warmly recommend the place, don’t hesitate.

I absolutely love this place! The town is very peaceful and beautifully located in Schwarzwald area. Very clean and well maintain, lots of flowers, and has a beautiful big park in the center with few rare plant species (e.g. sequoia trees). The downtown is very cute, charming, realy good restaurants and cafeterias around.
Lots of easy hiking trails around the town, an open air swimming park and a lovely therme (Cassiopeia therme) place among the highlights.

Lovely countryside to view and explore. Really quiet and relaxing. We loved the thermal pool. If we had known more beforehand, we would have spent the day there. We hiked, we ate good food and the day of e biking through the vineyards to Staufen was excellent. It was a place more suited to older people though. Not many children. Great place for some R&R. We felt super relaxed here.
We stayed in the Holiday Home just down the street from the main hotel. It was very comfortable and having 4 bedrooms was great. We were able to make ourselves breakfast in the full kitchen and there is a washer/dryer so we could wash our laundry. Wifi was really good.
To our enjoyment of our stay, there were the hospitality, the cleanliness, the location of the most beautiful villa, the size of the bedroom and bathroom. Particulary noteworthy was the 5* breakfast, we haven't had such a good experience in a hotel in this regard.
Absolutely polished and very well equipped. Lots of space and a nice private balcony. Quiet but still very central location. Have been in Badenweiler a few times before but in hotels. This is probably the best accommodation and best value you can get here.
this is a great location to discover Badenweiler, in a a beautiful villa with good sized self contained units. Herr Vogel is very responsive and very helpful, always reachable on his mobile phone, and his staff is very courteous and very quick to help

The owner of the hotel strived to give us the perfect room. He provided a spacious one for us and we had a comfortable stay there. Breakfast is very tasty and everything was of high quality.

The grounds of the hotel were well maintained, the view was picturesque enough to be included in a postcard, the pillows and bed were comfy, and the friendliness was wonderful.
