Visited the Meckenheim for a business trip, and the location was great. It is near the train station only about 5~10 minutes walk. The breakfast the hotel provides was one of the best breakfast I had among the hotels I visited in Europe.
There are supermarkets nearby providing convenience to the daily needs in travelling.
Very nice room! Poor breakfast. No fruits. By the time, we came, there was almost nothing left. Also, no table was prepared, no plates, no cutlery. Bad service! Probably because only two people had to serve all the guests. Not really a four star hotel level.
Nice hotel positioned just tem minutes walk from the town centre where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Hotel room a good size and the shower was hot and strong. Very friendly staff. Breakfast very good buffet, with good choice of food.
