It is a strikingly handsome building right next to a Bavarian castle. It feels glamorous just pulling up in the car. Inside it has a grand yet cosy ambience, the restaurant area is all heavy oak woodwork and hand painted panels with local scenes. The staff were very cheerful and helpful, we felt comfortable right away after our long drive. It's a great stop off on a drive from the UK ferries to Italy or vise-versa. It's a five minute walk into town.

the location is excellent, right in front of train station. the breakfast is generous and tasty. they also allowed late check out for a fee of 20EU which was very helpful considering we had a late evening flight from Munich.

This is one of the, if not the coolest staged/decorated room I ever stayed in. I would have preferred a parfumed (not odor-free) handwash/bodywash but that is only nitpicking.

This hotel is located in Weißenhorn, set in the Swabian countryside between Ulm and Memmingen. RiKu Hotel Weißenhorn is located close to the A7 and A96 and offers free WiFi and a bar.
The hotel is right beside Schloss Illertissen and the building was originally associated with the castle. It has an elegance that fits with its history. It has been very tastefully refurbished. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
It specialises in providing a location for business events and weddings, and understandably so because of its great location and grounds. I was told they host a wedding reception almost every weekend, which might be worth bearing in mind if you were looking for quiet place for an overnight stop.
Good size room, good shower room, small kitchenette which I hadn't expected and good sized fridge. Parking was right in front of the hotel. There was a McDonalds nearby which we could walk to and Tesla supercharging right next to the hotel and as we were travelling in a Tesla we were able to charge our car without delaying our onward journey.
The hotel is in a lovely small city, with a quiet street, parking is secured and included in the price, and breakfast is really good. The apartment was spacious, beds and bathrooms were clean, functional kitchen with enough dishes if you need to prepare a simple dinner.
A very nice hotel/Gasthof with a traditional German atmosphere and very friendly and service minded staff/owners!
