Despite initial concerns about its outdated appearance and a faint musty smell in the hallway, my stay at the Steigerwaldhaus turned out to be quite delightful. The cozy room provided all the necessary facilities and boasted a comfortable bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the friendly staff at the restaurant, where I indulged in a delicious dinner. Additionally, the WiFi worked seamlessly in the room, allowing me to stay connected. Breakfast was a pleasant experience, rounding off my stay on a high note. Overall, despite its age, the Steigerwaldhaus offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a charming choice for accommodation.

It's an easy drive off the autobahn and little difficulty finding facilities. The locals are welcoming. For me it was fantastic however, not a place for the party lover. I stayed at the Krone hotel. Facilities, food and staff were all excellent.

This was a perfect stop over hotel if you are doing a long trip with children. It is good value for money, perfectly situated ( just a few minutes from the motorway). The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food good.
Hotel-Restaurant Stern is highly recommended. We stopped for one night on our drive through Germany, happily stayed more if we planned accordingly. The hotel is easily accessible from the motorway, very close and yet very quiet. A hearty welcome, delicious lunch, a practical and clean room - how we started our stay. And it got even better. After having a bit of nap after the long drive we went for dinner. Local delicacies made exceptionally. And the breakfast was outstanding also. The team is most friendly and helpful. Thank you everyone!

No staff there as it is self sign in, we were due to arrive pretty late so messaged hotel owner via booking.com and there was a quick reply with clear instructions

I was on the way to Vienna needed a rest. Good decision, beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. The lady at the reception was very friendly and the lady in the restaurant also. The breakfast was really good. Value for money this hotel and a nice break and only 4mins from the A3 highway.
Room at Hotel Krone was substituted for room at the hotel Gasthof Metzgerei Lamm that we had booked, but this was a surprise. Several eating places nearby. Free parking was adjacent. Breakfast in Hotel Krone was good.
Excellent place to stay overnight while crossing Germany, easy to find, 1 min away from the highway. Reception was open after 00:00, no need to go to Shell. Great breakfast offered at Toni's around the corner

Continental style self service breakfast was adequate for us.fresh coffee was good.
Mr Müller was the best host I could wish for.
Everything was tip top. If you‘re traveling in Germany and need an overnight stay in this area I can highly recommend this property.
