Absolutely wonderful time spent with the owners Uschi and Rex. Oreo, the family dog, was a great host also. When the weather's cold, the heated floors in the room and toilet is a godsend. Also, no dirty carpets like hotel chains. Perfectly happy stay.

It is good for one night layover on way to other destinations. You can stay one night and when you check out you can visit the nearby tourist places and the move on to your next destination. You shouldn't spend 2 nights in this place. Not much to see and not much to do. You are better off spending more nights in Switzerland/Austria.

Lovely and peaceful, away from the motorway and the lovely...
Lovely and peaceful, away from the motorway and the lovely church opposite turns off its chimes at night so all is great for a good rest. The food at the hotel engel is fantastic with some tasty vegetarian and vegan choices and the staff are very helpful with good English. Multi language menu very useful as this was first ever visit to Germany. I felt very welcome in this lovely small town. Clean. Peaceful. Friendly.

A good location for a trip to the Schwarzwald, or tot France (Strasbourg!!). Baden Baden is 17 km., a pretty town. Bühl has all you need during your stay, but offers nothing special of fancy. But why bother? Go out for a walk, a ride, or visit Strasbourg. Taste the local wine at the Affentaler winery in Bühl.

Buhl is a small town that is a good spot from which to explore this part of The Black Forest It has some great cycling routes for those who enjoy flat cycle route riding through fields of corn and sunflowers.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, if a little unenspiring. The room was well equipped and the bathroom was ok. I have the impression it is geared more towards business travellers than tourists. I didn't eat in the restaurant but the bar was attractive and fairly lively in the evenings. Breakfast was the standard continental mixture of yogurt, pastries, cold meat and cheese and was unremarkable. I chose it primarily for its great location in the heart of Buhl, less than 10 minutes' walk to the station.
Perfect location whether you're walking the Rheinsteig, driving, taking the bus, or cycling.
Friendly staff, very large, clean rooms, great on-site bar and restaurant.
There is also an electric car charger nearby.
Really wonderful views.
Right between two ski slopes too, so there appears to be plenty to do in the winter.

That's a very special building - wonderful for a meditation retreat or a base for visiting Baden-Baden. Rooms are simple, bathroom shared, but price/value ratio is unmatched. I loved plentiful breakfast and splendid monastery gardens. It's possible to order in advance lunch and dinner. Please check their timing in advance. Staff is really welcoming.
The hotel is very close to the railway station and the bus stop for airport shuttle, which is very convenient. The single room was spacious, clean and I particularly enjoyed the tea and coffee making facilities. The self-check-in was fast with no issues. There is a bakery, a supermarket and a DM store nearby, which was perfect for my needs.
Fabulous Breakfast in a very beautiful spot ontop of the hotel. The Host and Hostess were able to allow me to eat breakfast earlier than normal hours on weekends. Lovely, and most delicious. The area is quite nice, very quiet and had great playground, bakery, and a Lidl store nearby. Excellent Hotel/Apartment for travelers with pets/
We got a small studio, with kitchenette. Whole building extraordinary clean, very nice staff and possiblity of having breakfast lunch and dinner.
Restaurants serves typical local meals and they are happy to advise you.
Around is vineyards, forest and many viewpoint. It's just 20 minutes by car to BadenBaden.
Small quiet sleepy little town, good central location with bars and cafes all around the square. Free parking was made available. Great for 1 night stay. 20 mins from Baden Baden and also the Rhine. Friendly staff, part of a cafe/restaurant. Coffee, ice cream and breakfast all great [bought separately].
In my case the hotel was used on my way back from Italy. It's conveniently close to the highway and easily reachable, but far enough away that you don't hear it. The hotel has plenty of parking available. The room was spacious and the breakfast was very good.
Apartment well equipped, with all appliances and kitchen wear. Nice furniture. Spacious rooms. Nice place to stay. Host very friendly and helpful. They even give us a free ride to Baden Baden railway during heavy rain.
The hotel is amazing a real gem, the host are lovely people and oreo the dog is adorable. Rex and Ushi make you feel very at home. The location is beautiful, absolutely loved staying there.
The staff was very kind and helpful. The view from the hotel is beautiful, in the middle of nature with hiking trails and they have a playground next door.
