Quiet location close to hiking trails. Very comfortable bed and the fridge was very useful. Nice shower. Host speaks perfect English and very hospitable. Fast internet connection for telework. Breakfast was no problem. I took my own toaster and cereal with me and had wonderful breakfast every morning.

The welcome was warm and the staff were very friendly throughout our stay. Dinner was EXCEPTIONAL. The best meal I've eaten in Germany probably ever and such brilliant value. Worth travelling to this place just to eat. I would stay here again without doubt if ever I'm in the area. The hotel is also a short walk from Blankenheim which is a charming town.
This was a brilliant place to stay for a few days. The food was excellent, and the breakfast too. My motorbike was under cover, which shouldn't have been a surprise as this is a motorcycle friendly hotel. I had a great time talking in my tourist German. I felt really relaxed here.
I would stay here again at the drop of a hat.
We had a lovely stay between Christmas and New Year, and enjoyed the hiking trails around Blankenheim, together with our 2 dogs. Our very friendly host Dagmar showed us around.
Appartment was cosy, and with a bakery across the street for breakfast buns.
The (free) sauna and hot tub were a nice bonus!
Amazing host, in service and completeness of the appartement. We were hiking and forgot something. Without hesitation the host brought it to our next hotel!
