The property is situated amongst the vines close to Baden Baden. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the room was clean and spacious. Beautiful old town with pleasant walks, good places to eat and interesting museums. Don't miss the Roman Baths museum in the city centre and I strongly recommend the Town Museum. Concerts in the festspielhaus are worth investigating.

    It is a small town.

It is a small town. We went on off season so it was not crazy busy but i heard that during the summer traffic becomes nerve-racking. As attractions, I would say that the Caracalla Spa, walking in town (don't miss the Café König), ride a bus that takes you through a beautiful residencial area are basically what can be done there. We are not hikers persons so ... for us that was it.

Baden Baden is a very swish town with something for everyone. Easy to get around. Great hill walking, great parks to stroll. Restaurants, shops, museums, cafes and of course the thermal spa. Would defo recommend a three day break.

Baden-Baden is a beautiful resort town.

Baden-Baden is a beautiful resort town. The architecture and natural surroundings are well worth a visit. The main draw is the two major spas (Fredreichbaths and Caracalla Spa). The latter is more mainstream, with a large modern spa facility, the former is a traditional roman style bath experience. The entire city is very walkable, and you would only need to use a vehicle to get from the station to the central area. Baden-Baden is a playground for the wealthy, and as such expect ~30% increase in the price of activities, food and lodgings compared to other areas of Germany. The town is a favorite of the older generations, making it less of a draw for backpackers or younger people looking to be social or meet the locals. There is a lack of nightlife or social events, but the casino and ballet make it great for those looking to take a luxury getaway.

Baden-Baden really is a lovely town.

Baden-Baden really is a lovely town. The old castle and the Mekur mountain railway are each about an hour on foot (uphill)! Lichentaller allee is a tree lined walk along the river, passing many stunning properties, a rose garden and a dahlia garden. Plenty of restaurants and great beer to round off the days sightseeing.

The excellent and quiet location in the old town of Baden Baden directly across from the Friedrichsbad. My single room was a larger size and they gave me my room request on an upper floor. I appreciated that the hotel has an elevator. The breakfast buffet is in a well appointed room and the server brings a jug of coffee to your table. This is a nice touch as many places now have those self serve, push a button coffee machines. Fresh rolls, muesli, boiled eggs, sliced meats, tomatoes, cucumbers, yogurts, cheeses, juice are all on offer.

All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had injured my foot prior to our arrival and they immediately offered me ice and walking sticks. Very good restaurant recommendations and sightseeing options geared to my injured foot. Really enjoyed the spa which is only steps away and hotel offers a discount. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay again when returning to Baden Baden.

Hotel Beek is very well placed for visitors who plan a trip to Baden Baden's spas or casino. It has the advantage that it is close to the centre of town - shops, restaurants - but in a quiet corner. We discovered that our room had a balcony with a wonderful view of Friedrichsbad, and an excellent patisserie beneath for Kaffee und kuchen.
