We stayed here during the long weekend of the 14th July, as we live in France, and we were extremely pleased.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting and you'll have amazing views of the forest from most rooms and from the pool. The pool is also great, and it was one of the things that made us choose this hotel, as we wanted to relax and enjoy the hot summer weather.
The staff is 5 stars! From the reception, to the restaurant, everyone was extremely polite, welcoming and friendly. We don't speak German very well, and everyone made us feel comfortable by speaking in English with us (a special thanks to the gentleman that served us dinner both nights!).
The hotel is also very clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious, had a lovely garden and we felt at home here.
The restaurant is also amazing! Our dinner was excellent, really, with healthy, fresh and rich ingredients, but without all that nonsense new-trend cuisine. We loved it! Also, we think the hotel is a great value if you choose half-board. We think the price of the room, with everything you have access to (spa, pool, beautiful forest...), is extremely reasonable considering the quality food (and generous portions!) you get. Also, lunch/brunch is included (with salads, a lot of fresh and delicious fruit, cakes, etc), and you also have fruit and tea in a space by the pool and spa. We thought is was so generous!
Overall, we were extremely pleased and we'll definitely be coming back in the future.
It's German quality and German hospitality at its best!

We have visited many times over the years.
We have visited many times over the years. Simply love the place, it's so quiet and relaxing. OK.. it does not have the "thrills and spills" of other places but that is it's beauty. It's off the beaten track and simply wonderful for walking, running and relaxing!

Four of us stayed here before we set off for a ride around Germany,Austria,Switzerland on our lambrettas for four days and then arriving back. we were allowed to leave our van here which was a great help, I had booked the hotel and my friends were not disappointed, in fact so much so they couldn’t wait to go back for the final night ,absolutely fantastic facilities, staff and food. Will definitely return agin.
The breakfast buffet is exceptional. It's a delicious, champagne brunch. Far better than any hotel buffet breakfast I've ever had.
The pools and hot tubs are fantastic. Beautiful setting, very expansive and relaxing. They even had pool tools for the children to borrow, and no one made us feel bad about having the little ones around.
Hotel is perfect! Staff are super friendly and willingly to help. When they know I don’t speak German, they tried their best to speak English. Fantastic dinner, great sauna and thermal swimming pool. Must try the outdoor thermal pool
The staff was very nice and welcoming. The area is superb and the hotel it-self is retro style and I like it a lot. The bedrooms are big and really confortable with the little balcony. The village is also interesting with the baths.

Excellent hotel with very modern spa facilities. The ones on the first floor can be also accessible by public. The saunas on the third floor are more private and reserved for hotel guests only. But both are splendid
For one night stay its ok. Breakfast is good. Room was clean, a little old fashon. Hotel door is closed always. You need a key. Elevator was not working. I think the covid crisis made it slow down….
Very good hotel with mineral pools and spa. Great price-performance. Good spa area and saunas. Very tasty dinner - top 10! It was in half-board price included, so total cost is fine.
This hotel is stunning! I had a room with a veranda, it was very spacious, comfortable bed. The pools were great for relaxing. It's in a beautiful location for walks and hiking.
We didn't receive any bath towels in the facilities and in the room, due to some issues in the hotel. It was really disappointing, especially because of the hotel price.
