We stayed here during the long weekend of the 14th July, as we live in France, and we were extremely pleased.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting and you'll have amazing views of the forest from most rooms and from the pool. The pool is also great, and it was one of the things that made us choose this hotel, as we wanted to relax and enjoy the hot summer weather.
The staff is 5 stars! From the reception, to the restaurant, everyone was extremely polite, welcoming and friendly. We don't speak German very well, and everyone made us feel comfortable by speaking in English with us (a special thanks to the gentleman that served us dinner both nights!).
The hotel is also very clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious, had a lovely garden and we felt at home here.
The restaurant is also amazing! Our dinner was excellent, really, with healthy, fresh and rich ingredients, but without all that nonsense new-trend cuisine. We loved it! Also, we think the hotel is a great value if you choose half-board. We think the price of the room, with everything you have access to (spa, pool, beautiful forest...), is extremely reasonable considering the quality food (and generous portions!) you get. Also, lunch/brunch is included (with salads, a lot of fresh and delicious fruit, cakes, etc), and you also have fruit and tea in a space by the pool and spa. We thought is was so generous!
Overall, we were extremely pleased and we'll definitely be coming back in the future.
It's German quality and German hospitality at its best!

A beautiful setting that is a perfect base to explore the Black Forest area, and relax in the thermal baths. The local people are very friendly and welcoming. A great place for a long weekend, easily accessed by train.

Pretty location to relax in.
Pretty location to relax in. Lots of walking routes, and plenty of opportunity for walking and cycling on local roads and the riverside. It also has its own railway station.
The local Thermal Baths were a nice place to visit. Staff there were really helpful.
We did not really have time to check out the local shops although there were the regular shops such as food shops, hairdressers, sports hire/equipment, etc, as well as a few local restaurants.
Maisenbach is a very beautiful small village above bad liebenzell (5-7min by car), the view is really nice and there are many beautiful small roads for biking, as well as a very nice hike to bad liebenzell. Anne and Tommy are very welcoming and helpful hosts! The appartement is very large, well equipped, clean and decorated very nicely! We loved our stay at the house and definitely wish to come back for a longer stay!
Not far from the motorway route in a quiet beautiful small town, ideal for a stopover on our long drive. Secure parking next to the hotel. Close to a few cafes and a great pizzeria. Lovely warm room with a comfortable bed and a great shower. Breakfast was amazing. Lots if different dishes in individual glass jars. Very Covid secure.
Staff is very friendly, breakfast is nice, and the room is very clean. I like the location as we were having a meeting at kurhaus, and it is quite close from the hotel.I had to check-in late because of train delays and they were waiting for me until 23, very kind and responsive.
Fantastic hotel. Lovely room with balcony, friendly and helpful staff, one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. A perfect base for exploring the Black Forest on ebikes and enjoying the thermal baths. We highly recommend Hotel Koch.
Very cool modern penthouse with 360 degree views of Bad Liebenzell. Huge space with lots of windows and a balcony overlooking everything. Nice kitchen and big bedroom. Host was very personable and nice. Everything is new and clean.
Breakfast was fabulous great choice of hot and cold food. Location was great near to amenities in town. Parking at back of hotel. Room was very good with comfortable bed. Manager was very helpful and accommodating.

Wonderfull hotel, great spacious rooms with superb beds, fine breakfast. Little detour from the autobahn as stop on our way to Austria, but more than worth it. We come back!
