It was my second time at Hotel Costa Pacífica. It's super beautiful place, the gardens are spectacular, lovely pool and jacuzzi, there's gym and plenty of activities such as pool, table tennis, beach volleyball area and plenty of chill out areas and hammocks. Each room has a little terrace. Restaurant is great and staff are top class professional and helpful. There's plenty of parking available. The hotel is quiet and good place for relaxing. It's less than 300m from the beach where you can enjoy long walks and spot many macaws. There's few small restaurants in the area in walking distance, and little shop. Quepos is 45 min drive, Uvita 1 hour, San Jose you can get there in under 2 hours.

We had such a great time at Marala. We had just been travelling for ages from the UK and hadn’t had the best time - we arrived at Marala and they had given us an upgrade to their suite. It was beautiful and extremely comfortable- the team working there were very helpful and very nice. We enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant in the evening and a yummy breakfast by the pool in the morning. Somewhere we will definitely return to! Thanks again!

Right on the beach!
Right on the beach! We had lots of fun swimming, great sunrise and sunsets!
We like the fact that we were off the beaten path. I don't think we ever saw more than 20-30 people on the beach the entire time we were there.
Charlie dont surf, but every morning there were about 5-10 surfers doin what surfers do most were gone by 8am.
Where to start? The people who run this hotel are the kindest we have met in Costa Rica, and that is saying something!! The restaurant was delicious for all meals and the produce was just so fresh. The hotel backs onto the beach and is filled with wild parrots and even a sloth living in the trees in the garden! The beach it backs onto is an incredible surf break with loads of peaks a point break for long boarders. We had the most amazing stay and felt so at home thanks to the lovely people running it. We will be back as soon as we can.
The spot is in an amazing location,very close to the beach as well as being centrally located in Esterillos Oeste. You are able to walk to restaurants, the market and the beach! Roger is a wonderful host very helpful has great tips on dining, activities and any questions you might have about Esterillos and the surrounding areas. His place is very environmentally friendly he has reused a lot of building materials to create a very artistic space. We will definitely be back!
It is nice hotel with small pool near the beach. Rooms are comfortable and bigger you have needed area for all you things and baggages. Beach is calm and the sea is not deep - it should be good for families with children. For us it was nice place for last day near the sea. In Esterillos we saw more than 30 parrots Ara :D ... We can recommend this place!
This is our first trip to CR so we chose to hit the 1st tier sites which have meant we were in pretty touristy places. Our night in Esterillos was a welcome change and our stay at Dolce Vida was quaint, unhurried and very genuine. Not much to see here folks, unless you've come for the surf. But with 37km of beach to walk we loved being here.
Beautiful complex with a great view of the sea. The complex is visually appealing, as are the rooms with everything you expect. However, no room safe. TV, minibar, very comfortable beds (5 stars) and quiet air conditioning. Pool is sufficiently large if only hotel guests are there.
Sufficient parking spaces available with guard
Great location! Esterillos is a quiet and a bit neglected village between Jaco and Quepos, which makes it great if you want a superb uncrowded beach with loads of scarlet macaws right behind the door. The staff was nice and helpful, the breakfast very good, the sunrises and sunsets superb... would return again at once.
Wonderful staff and a very nice hotel with modern updated rooms. Jon (Jean) from the staff was the perfect host, the hotel is lucky to have someone that great. Everyone there treated us very well. It's a nice quiet area just south of Jaco with some great beaches hidden nearby. We would definitely stay here again!
Emilio and the staff were so friendly and attentive. You're taken care of. Also we were upgraded to a better room which was available.
The hotel is just a few steps away from Esterillos Beach, so it's a good spot for surfers.

Comfortable rooms and thoughtful amenities (lending library, umbrellas, yoga mats, huge kitchen) to be an excellent home base in Esterillos Oeste. The host was very attentive and helpful with restaurant recommendations, local guidance, and even wildlife sightings.
Staff is very friedly and helpfull, specialy Jean. His service is great. Rooms are clean with nice back garden.
There is voleyball court, fitness, ping pong, table fotbal available. A lot of activities to do at place. The beach is 10 minutes walk from hotel.

Easy to find, on a beautiful beach for walking, both sunrise and sunset. Swimmable, but waves and currents are pretty strong (not the hotel’s fault). Good ax,in bedroom. Scarlet macaws in he trees next to the hotel.
We loved it. My wife and I enjoyed our 29th anniversary at this new and very nice hotel!! The staff are wonderful and always helpful willing to make unforgettable your time there. We will go back for sure
