Beautiful view from the terrace of our deluxe bungalow, in the middle of nature with sea view, very quiet, comfortable bed, mosquito nets on the windows, fridge and bathrobes in the room, the pool is not big but great, the food was good but lacked spices, great staff (special thanks to Juan, Camilo and the kitchen staff), from the nice restaurant you can watch hummingbirds and even monkeys. It's a great place to slow down and relax. A few small shops and restaurants are within walking distance, it's also nice to walk along the beach to Mendihuaca, and you can easily take the public bus to Tayrona National Park or Palomino. We stayed six nights and didn't want to leave.

Exceptional location, right at the junction between the sea and the river. Our room was incredible... literally above the waves crashing with an open concept and a Mosquito net around the bed. By far, the best accommodation we had in Colombia! Lovely staff, nice pool, excellent restaurant and breakfast. Very special place. Do not miss it!
Situated 3 km from the Tayrona National Park, Finca Los Angeles offers rustic accommodation with direct access to a private beach. The charming rooms feature hand-carved furniture and hammocks.

Lovely family-run place perched on a hill overlooking the jungle and sea. Really wonderful people. Our daughters loved playing with the animals on site. The food was also very good. How about that view from the pool! And the nearby beach is magical.

Proximity to Tayrona really good - El Zaino entrance and walks. Other destinations a longer taxi ride (such as Minca) but all manageable.
Property itself is lovely. Immaculate, spacious and a very good food offering. Delightful service.
Nice pool and lots of space around to take in diffract views. Only negative is the weak shower pressure (cabana 1).
Easy drop down to beach and sea - and very atmospheric bar for sundowners.
Pretty much perfect

Liked: Came here in October 2021 and returned mainly because the place is absolutely beautiful. The view is stunning, you're in the middle of nature and wherever you look there are amazing birds or giant trees.
Disliked: During our five day stay, the water was cut three times and electricity went out twice (this didn't happen last year). Also, almost every night a noisy water leakage would start under the cabin and the last night there was a hydraulic motor-bomb malfunction nearby, very noisy as well. Every time I called the administration and they responded in good will, sometimes being able to help and sometimes not. But these issues are clearly the result of long-term poor management, and there is only so much the on-site staff can do.
Also, the hotel sells the idea of being able to offer good wi-fi: nothing could be further from the truth. Wi-fi is extremely unstable. You can go hours, even days without connection. So this is not a good place to go if you require a stable internet signal. I went with the idea of working remotely and had a negative experience in that department.
This said, it wasn't a horrible couple of days, but I'll be looking elsewhere for my next trip.

Los naranjos is a huge place where the jungle merge with the beach, divided by a river that can be crossed wslking when the tide is low, aligators are the puppies of the area and althought they look dangerous they only like to take a sunbath, they are afraid of humans, but dont test this, keep away from them and enjoy, the beach have different walking access, explore them all.

This was a mixed bag.
This was a mixed bag. On the upside, the restaurant was really fantastic and the view from the deck chairs, overlooking the beach, was just stunning. The room was clean and the restaurant staff were friendly. That said, the photographs of the rooms are misleading, as the rooms are actually really really dark, with just a few dim lamps providing a little bit of light. The “sea view” from the room that is pictured in the snaps is also not really anything. You can barely see the water. When we told the front desk staff that this was not what they were advertising, they said they would "be back to discuss" and then never showed up. Since it was only one night, we decided to just stick it out. Also, at this price, it seems like the hotel could have hot water in the showers. Oh, and our room was next to the kitchen so we were woken up early with noise from the staff, blender, etc.
The location of be hotel is excellent, very close to Tayrona NP and the view from the hotel and terrace is stunning. The dinner and breakfast was excellent and the rooms are spacious and nice. The staff were also incredibly nice and helpful. Special thanks to Sharon who was on hand to help, Sandris who prepared an excellent breakfast and helped me out massively with getting a taxi, and to the girl who helped me check in and the evening barman/chef (I didn’t catch their names unfortunately!)
A true earthly paradise, this is the ideal spot for rekindling your connection with nature while enjoying the comforts of a luxurious hotel. You'll be treated to breathtaking sunsets over the mountains and stunning sunrises by the beach, accompanied by exceptional cuisine and a caring staff. Our stay was incredibly tranquil and rejuvenating. Plus, it's just minutes away from Tayrona National Park, an absolute must-visit if you're in this area. We'll definitely be returning!
Our stay at villa playa Tayrona was absolutely amazing. The assistant manager (Thais) made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend the tubing trip down the river. The hotel has the most amazing view we have ever seen. Make sure you stop by the Sierra bar near the hotel for delicious tacos and cocktails with an unreal view. Bring enough cash, there are no ATM’s near Tayrona, only in Santa Marta. All in all, the best stay we had in a long time!
Hotel Isabella is a gem! Room was wonderful and comfortable, with great A/C (we really needed it after Tayrona). Staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The food is excellent! Very short bus ride to main Zaino Tayrona entrance. Experienced a full blown tropical thunderstorm our second night while eating dinner but it only added to our experience! If you are only visiting inside the park one day, save your money and stay outside the park!
Everything including the room, the food, the views, the staff and the facilities has been amazing. We felt so comfortable and taken care of every single day. We would like to emphasize Angela who was just wonderful and accommodating. Including a daily Spanish lesson. :) We stayed 8 nights at the hotel and we would do it again. We used the transport service from an to the airport, Santa Marta and the Tayrona national park. We didn’t have any problems.
The people were incredibly friendly and helpful. The single beds were very comfortable. The food was very good and was priced very economically. They accept credit cards. Also, you can simply charge your meals to your room, and pay when you check out of hotel. The called a taxi for us when we left. Lady called a pharmacy to deliver antibiotics when I caught a stomach bug in previous town and was not improving. The employees are amazing.
Its an amazing place, with an excellent vibe. Viviana y Rosario are so good with the coocking and Enyer was kind as well as Liliana (the host).
When you get to the beach after a 5 minutes walk you get a maevelous view of a private beach, and on top of the rock a nice bar called Sierra, where you can enjoy an impressive sunset over the river.
The breakfast was delicious and the food at Casa Origen was really good too.
Our stay was amazing!
The view is astonishing, the swimming pool is very inviting and the whole area is so quite and relaxing.
The hotel and rooms are well decorated and very clean.
In reality it even looks better than in pictures.
The food was amazing, best in Colombia!
The staff was very nice and attentive.
Very recommended!
the jungle and the sea wonderfully surrounded the hotel! the facilities and rooms were amazing and the staff was extremely friendly and would go above and beyond to help my friend and i plan our day. the food was also excellent. our sea-view bungalow was just perfect. i would highly consider staying there again.
The staff was the best we saw in our 2-week Trip to Colombia (out of 6 hotels). The pool areas and private beach are perfect to relax and the access to Park Tayrona is relatively easy. Also our room was quite comfortable and had the perfect view to the ocean. It was really a great experience.
This place is paradise. Quiet and tranquil with lots of birds all around. You are immersed in nature. The on-site restaurant is exquisite and cocktails and great. Private beach access to beautiful sunsets where the river flows into the sea is unbeatable. Highly recommend!
Everything about this hotel was perfect. Felt luxurious but also casual and relaxed.
Welcoming and helpful staff. Stylish rooms and fab pool. Good access to local activities and advice from front desk - Tayrona and also a refreshing waterfall swim. We loved this stay.
The location is amazing! beautiful views, secluded beach, and the facilities of the hotel were amazing. we loved the food, the drinks and all of the amenities. The staff was incredible, extremely helpful, nice and always will to assist in anything we needed.
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Only a couple of minutes drive from El Zaino and right around the corner from a fantastic private beach (Los Angeles, 12,000 COP entry). Nice small pool. We were happy with the meals in the restaurant.
Location is perfect, river access behind the hotel, local shops and restaurants near by and few minutes walk to the main entrance to Tayrona National Park. Nice swimming pool by the room. Bus stop in front of the Hotel und
Really lovely hotel. Beautiful setting near the beach but in the jungle so you have the best of both worlds. Good (albeit limited) food menu, all made fresh on request. Nice rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff
The views were spectacular. Very little noise other than the sound of the surf. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Probably one of the better hotels to relax and read a book I could imagine.
Beautiful location by the ocean . You hear the waves all day and night . Very calm and soothing place . Great food , spa , swimming pool and beach . One of my favourite hotels in the world
Very friendly owners. Breakfast was good. The pool is amazing best view compared to other hotels in the area, room was clean. ( for dinner go across the road to casa Isabella)
