I had such a nice stay. The place is quiet and beautiful. Maria and Caesar are so lovely and help you on everything. They arrange everything you need. From yoga class, massage, food delivery, taxi, laundry, surf… It feels like home. The room are new and clean. And the location is great. Couple of minutes to te beach. And 5 minutes in car or moto to a nice spot for surf. I will definitely come back.

Finca Barlovento is one of Colombia’s best kept secrets. The views from every angle are breathtaking, with the river on one side, and two stretches of beaches on the other. It’s lush, and there are tons of birds and wildlife on the property. The free breakfast was also delicious (they could bring it to your room!) and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Could not recommend it more.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. I am a firm believer that the staff can make or break a hotel and the staff here confidently knows what they’re doing- everyone from the reception to the kitchen staff was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. A smaller hotel so plenty of attention on the guests. Great rooms at an affordable price- and did I mention views!? Stay here if you’re in Santa Marta. We stayed at three places in the area and this was our favorite.
