perfect location, great value for money, simply but comfortable, basic breakfast (ham, cheese, eggs, jam, butter, bread/toast/cake, croissant, fruit, no veggies, coffee/tea/water/soda)
I liked the lake front location of the hotel, next to a cool beach bar. Nice lawn and a couple of sunbeds available to the guests. The mattress of the bed was ok, the tiny ensuite bathroom not bad, could use a renovation, but still ok. Room and bathroom pretty clean. Free parking available on spot. Guests receive the Ticino ticket that allows them to use all means of public transport for free during the entire stay. Awesome!
Beautiful apartment with door code access. Parking close by for a reasonable rate, and can be paid by ParkingPay app. 1CHF per hour from 08:00 to 19:00, thereafter without charge. Apartment itself very well appointed, air con, kitchen, dishwasher etc. All in immaculate condition. Vira is a lovely location, not too busy with some nice beaches and bars.
Great location - and for once "beachfront" was an accurate description ! The hotel has vary basic rooms but it was adequate for a one night stay and the bed was very comfortable . Shared bathroom was excellent . The restaurant offered a terrific meal and a view of the lake .
Great view, we loved that the hotel is situated in a few smaller buildings, like this it makes it more private, quiet and great for a good rest. The restaurant with very good food and good prices. Hiking trail just around the corner was a good point!
