Very nice hotel, close to the city center and with an amazing view on the lake. My room was newly refurbished, it was very nice and clean. Communication with staff was smooth and they were also very helpful. Hotel has an amazing rooftop terrasse with a great view on the lake and mountains, unfortunately the weather was nice only the last day of my stay so I could not enjoy it so much, but it is one other reason to visit again. Highly recommended

Excellent location (just a short walk down the hill from the train station), wonderful staff, delicious breakfast! We enjoyed our stay very much! The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of food to chose from during breakfast and we received answers to all the questions we had. The hotel has its own history which we found very interesting to see in all the pictures that were up on the walls.

Also we took a boat ride along the lake, which without any discount is about 40CHF for 2 hours ride, which is also very nice. There is a half tax discount if you have it for Switzerland. Miniature museum is nice as well.
Lugano over all I think will stay in my heart :)

2 nights would have been sufficient for us.
2 nights would have been sufficient for us. We took a day trip to Bellinzona and visited most of the popular attractions and had time to spare.
We are not shoppers or people who like to hang out next to a pool and relax. If you are that type of person, the lake is beautiful and the shopping
options are abundant.

We were pleasantly surprised at the Italian influence... it felt like we were in Italy as that was the predominant language, food, and people. The city was clean and safe. The people were proper and polite. We would highly recommend this place!

Lugano is an exceptional peaceful small city where you can enjoy the best views of the lake. Much better place to be compared to Como the busy crowded city.
We totally loved this city and all the things that offers from good food and pleasant historic buildings as well as friendly people.

Everything within walking distance or short bus/train/...
Everything within walking distance or short bus/train/funicular away. Great beach, amazing scenery. Lots of great restaurants. So Many points of interest to see, we unfortunately didn’t have time to do it all, but we enjoyed taking the funicular to Monte Bre, boat excursion to Melide, train to Bellizone to see the castles… Guess we’ll need to come back to see the rest!
The room was super clean, the bed was comfy, we had a great sleep. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located. The breakfast offer was quite rich (Just bear in mind that it is the Italian one, so mostly sweet things). We stayed for one night and after high season, though. I probably would look for a bigger room if I was about to stay in Lugano for longer holiday.
Our room is having the full lake view and at mid-level. Just 2 minute walk to the train station with a very nice and quiet park adjacent. Our room is so large with a long balcony overseeing the Lugano Lake. There are also large garden and swimming pool inside the hotel. The small grape yard at the back is a wonderful surprise.
The hotel is one of the historical hotels in Lugano , there are two buildings both are nice but represent two different eras
the staff is super friendly and helpful , always available. their concierge Giovanni is one of the best concierge i met in my travels .
the view from the balcony is amazing , you will not regret it.
The location was excellent—10 minutes walking distance to the funicular to Monte San Salvatore and 5 minutes to Lake Lugano—and the Paradiso boat stop. Dinner outdoors on the patio of the hotel restaurant was delightful with pleasant Italian singer (in English) and in the morning the breakfast was generous and delicious!
Breakfast was adequate, this is not a 5 star hotel, & Europeans generally have a lighter fare, so some comments were a little tough. We enjoyed ourselves very much. The staff was welcoming and VERY helpful. Clean room and a comfortable bed. Right in the center of activities and easy to access restaurants & the lake.
The hotel is not “charming” to look at compared to other places in Lugano but it’s ideally located, the room was modern and spotlessly clean, the bed was excellent and the facilities perfect. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and the breakfast was good. I definitely recommend this hotel!
The location is amazing, right in front on Lugano’s lake and at the start of a fashionable street with well-known brands. The hotel has a pool and a good restaurant, there is car parking however it is a bit small. Perfect stay if you want to spend a couple nights in Lugano.
- One of the best located hotels in Lugano
- Very friendly and helpful staff
- Nice rooftop for a relaxing moment or pictures
- Hotel was fully booked but we didn’t feel at all over crowded for the breakfast/check-in/check-out
neatness and hospitality of the staff, Check-in with zero waiting time , hotel location over the lake is unequivocal. I'd recommend This hotel to anyone in my network traveling to Lugano whether business or holiday to stay in.
Spacious place, 2 bathrooms, comfy beds and sheets. Very close to Lago di Lugano. Private Parking a big plus in that area. Pillows were very good (most of the hotels and reveals have had pillows). Great value for the money.
Sadly, I must say there was nothing i like about this hotel, is very dated, and needs a complete refurbishment or maybe put down and recreate a modern hotel reflecting on Lugano Enchanting Lake view.😒
Clean, modern hotel. Comfortable bed. Excellent location with a short walk to Paradiso railway station, shops, bars restaurants etc and a lovely walk along the lakeside into Lugano city centre.
Room view was very nice to lugano lake, and the hotel provides you with bus ticket to move within lugano easily and no need to worry regarding the parking.
