Wonderful location, so tranquil and brilliantly placed for getting the gondola to Lake Oeschinensee, which turned out to be one of my top hikes of all time - wow!
Hotel Ermitage is super cute. The restaurant is lovely and had plenty of delicious vegetarian choices for me. Breakfast is great. The views are amazing.
We went into the hot pot after a strenuous day hiking which was so much fun and perfect for soothing the muscles!
We stargazed at the beautiful night sky from the hotel car park with the tinkling of cow bells from the field.

Very lovely staff. Room was woww alot bigger then i expected. We loved it. They gave us guest travel card which we used to travel for free on the cable cars.
Close to the centre of Adelboden and just 100 metres from the Sillerenbühl Cable Car, Hotel Steinmattli offers panoramic views of the Engstligen Waterfall and the Wildstrubel Mountain.
The hotel is actually inside the Blausee park so you can explore Blausee as much as you want. It’s a pity the beauty of Blausee was affected by the cloudy weather but is still super pretty.
The restaurant in the hotel is glorified and the staff is pretty kind and friendly to chat with me.
The best thing about this hotel is you can enjoy a morning lake view without tourists bothering you and enjoy all the lovely view.
The location is amazing! What a privilege to be here...Enjoy the lake in the evening or early morning without any day visitors. The spa was great and peaceful. The breakfast was very, very good! The staff was so friendly. The room was very clean and smelled so good. I loved everything about my stay and I can highly recommend this beautiful, sweet and small scale hotel. Amazing location for a 'Auszeit'. I needed to get some work done & get away from "life admin" and the hotel was perfect. Gorgeous location, great food, Coffee available (nespresso) - spacious room with desk (THANK YOU!). Spa, hiking and friendly staff. They were so nice to let me work on my laptop for extended time at the table & in spaces. Can't wait to go back.
