We were only in the area for a wedding, so didn't have much time to explore. Whizzing through Windsor and Richmond the towns looked interesting, but Wilberforce where we stayed was small and not much there.

Windsor is a beautiful town, especially the main street with some lovely places to eat. French bakery to cafes to seafood and crepes and the oldest pub in Australia! Apart from this there isn't very much to do here but it's very close to other neighbouring towns such as Blacktown, Parramatta, Castle Hill etc. Overall, definitely not a holiday destination.

Pack lightweight luggage because you more than likely have stairs to negotiate. Take some ear plugs for the old a/c. There is no microwave, plates, bowls, spoons or a clock. The pillows are very thin with no spares in the room so take your own.

Very dirty, would never ever stay here again.

Very dirty, would never ever stay here again. There are no amounts of money you could pay me to ever return to this hotel. Booked for 3 nights, only stayed one and left due to the room being FULL of spiders!! I mean full!! And cockroaches in the beds.. the owner refused our money back and said if we didnt like it then we should leave so we did. And then hotel then proceeded to take 100$ out of my account as the key was left in the room and not handed back to them!! Even tho we left 2 days earlier!! Awful hotel and awful owners!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

Been to Windsor many times over 30 years.

Been to Windsor many times over 30 years. It has always been a place I love seeing again. Was there for a wedding at The Crown Plaza this time so was limited to sightseeing. It is a short drive to many surrounding areas for day trips, shopping 'recreation

Hotel has not been upgraded since 1980.

Hotel has not been upgraded since 1980. Breakfast was not worth having and we went elsewhere in day 2. The brochures suggest suitable walking areas on large premises which is not entirely accurate. No movie channels for the highest charging room. Tea/coffee provisions for 1 night are not replenished and no minibar provisions. We went shopping at Woolworths to supply our own snacks and condiments for the second night and did not attempt breakfast on the second day.

The room was tastefully decorated and had lights!!! All hotel rooms have lights but this Hotel has good lighting in the room so we were able to work in our room which was more comfortable than sitting at a bar. Beds were comfortable, facilities were good and the breakfast was excellent.

The hotel's location is excellent for a few days stay in the Hawkesbury. Really appreciated the facilities, undercover parking and all the little extras but the best part for me was the quiet! I've stayed at other hotels in the Hawkesbury, this is the best by far.
